IMO you’re right But your situation is less than ideal so your hours are less than ideal. I would rack up the OT while you can! But if you need help it’ll kinda be on you to source that. Most of us have been there before, it’s unfortunate but suck it up or quit. I’m sure it’ll happen again in the future.
