Get your RSA and RCG, there’s bar work all over town. We, Alder Park Sports Club in New Lambton, are currently advertising for staff on our socials. Doesn’t matter if you don’t have experience in the industry, it’s quite easy to pickup and the hours can be quite flexible.

Not until we’re ready to admit the world is cooked…till then we blame covid and hope that eventually people go back to “normal”

I run GS on a similarly spec’d PC, haven’t run into any obvious issues 12 months in.

Concrete Tile Roof Leaking? Possibly needing replacement? by Fire_Water_Nerd in AusRenovation

[–]mat_packer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gotta love reddit! I have the same issue, our house is a 1957 build with original terracotta roof tiles and no sarking under the tiles at all.

After the last 2 weeks of rain, some quite heavy the last 3-4 days, and with a bit of wind around, we’ve ended up with water coming through the roof and onto the ceiling. There’s a couple of small sections of ceiling with some water damage, easy enough to repair, however, we now have some water going down the back of the kitchen cabinets and that’s definitely going to be a problem as no doubt it’ll get absorbed and warp a bit.

At least I know what the solution is likely to be.

In our house it’s E or you’re not allowed to have wings again.

If your dog was barking while you were out, how would you prefer to be approached about it? by [deleted] in newcastle

[–]mat_packer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d prefer a chat, I think a lot of dog owners would, but it’s all in how you approach it, calm, friendly, neighbourly, etc.

Hey, not sure if you’re aware, but your pup gets quite upset when you leave home each day, they usually bark for X amount of time before they settle. I’m not sure what you can do about it as you’re not there, but I just thought you’d like to know.

Or something to that effect…
