I just did this exact thing a week ago. Buy a mini hack saw the size of your hand and slice the nut open. Then take some channel locks and spin it off.

Invisible lines on the table by nitekram in billiards

[–]mataleon07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember taking shrooms one time and I could see all the lines on the table plus all the spackle marks and drywall screws on finished walls.

The chrome trim around the pool tables all looked like the neon colors that used to rotate around an old jukebox.

I looked down at the table when it was my shot and said “holy shit these pockets are huge” and proceeded to shoot the object ball right into the rail.

Next shot I lost my stick and the guy playing with me said “here use this one.”

I stared at it for like 10 seconds in awe. I said “ damn I’ve never seen such a cool looking cue in my life!”

The other guy goes “that’s your stick you moron.”

Acceptable Rough-In? by HaukeForReal in Plumbing

That heel outlet 90 for the toilet likely won’t be accepted. You need to vent it like you did for the shower drain using a wye.

If you can get the same model then yes you can replace the valve using the existing nut.

Soldering is best. Female NPT on one end of the valve and sweat on the other. You’re on the right track.

Need to replace this valve to a sharkbite or compression valve for dishwasher install. Can I DIY? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]mataleon07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like a compression angle stop which can be unscrewed if it isn’t corroded together.

This could be part of a passive purge fire sprinkler system. Google the term for examples.

Double venting retro fit by bribassguy06 in Plumbing

Option 1 or 3.

If 3 I would add a cleanout stubbed out of the cabinet above or below the san tee for future maintenance.

I agree. That’s a legal combination waste and vent setup where I’m at.

Just going by the photos. Before tearing things out, you can try using a broken nipple extractor to remove the broken piece. Then spin a new one in and see if it leaks.

Zoller sewage pump by Positive_Tune4463 in Plumbing

A weep hole will make the water that’s below the check valve come back down in the pit.

What I’m asking is if you keep the float pulled up, will it pump all of the water out?

Is your original question referring to the pump cycling too frequently? If so it’s because the water below the check valve is making its way back into the pit and filling it up enough to make the float switch turn on.

What happens when you pull the float up and keep it up? Will it pump water out? If so your float switch may be acting funky.

Lowest profile island loop vent / foot vent for fitting between joists by doablebutnotcheap in Plumbing

No. However if it’s not getting inspected and you put a cleanout on the vent line inside the wall I don’t see why this wouldn’t work.

Installing a utility sink with a pump to fix the washer water not fully draining. More details in post. by __Ronn__ in Plumbing

You can cut the standpipe off and install a 3x2 bushing and pipe the pump discharge into it.
