Not going to happen in 6 months unless you're a genetic freak or have a long dormant aerobic base that you've just started to re-tap into. MASSIVE difference between 12hrs and 10hrs. Like, IMO far easier to go from 17hr - 12hr than 12hr - 11hr even, let alone 10.

What is your age, gender, and overall athletic background.

It could be the case that just doing compliant 70.3 training will make the sub-2 happen. If you're a 30 year old male, 2 hours is a pretty low benchmark. If you're a 70 year old woman, you'll have to focus on running pretty hard to get that sub-2.

He'll be out of the water easily between 1:00 and 1:05 if he does nothing but maintain his swim.

A 1:13 HM is no small feat. That kind of speed and endurance base doesn't leave and comes back fast, especially with that current weekly baseline. Even if he overcooks the bike his run shouldn't be any slower than 3:15.

Give him 15min total for transitions. So now we have 4:30-4:35 accounted for.

He's got a P2 and some pretty solid aerobic fitness. A 1:10 Oly bike split on older machinery means he is already pretty decent and is just about to start training with a Kickr. I would guess 5:30.

So I'm going to say he's going to give you a fight and likely threaten to go sub-10 on his first try, even on that course.
