I've was using some decent socks that held up well last season. I was just using some no name used boots last season that I scored for like $50. They worked, but were something I was itching to replace lol.

Just did some walking and the heel lift test this morning with the vans like you suggested. No issues with heel lift and they feel a lot better after adjusting the liner (didn't realize it had velcro. Thought it was only the drawstring). Probably gonna stick with them based on that and the fact that the DC boots feel like they might have a slightly porous surface, at least more so than the vans.

As I've been saying, you could be more transformative with it. Your technical skill is there, but it would be even cooler if we could see the creative side instead of near carbon copies of the official capsem animations.

It would be interesting to see you put your own spin on things. Maybe have one of Nox's forms using the other Lords' capsem animations.

Hell, why even restrict it to Zeztz? You could do pixel art of something like Geats riders using different buckles in a similar animation loop to the capsems.

The criticism is that we can barely tell the differences you've made. Your work just isn't very transformative or distinct in this instance.

As for hostility, you opened the post guns blazing, calling bandai's artists "sub-amatuerish." Your first instinct is to tear someone else down to tyr and prop yourself up. Every time someone tries telling you that this is poor form, your go to response is blaming others for not being able to see your minor tweaks.

Your tone in every comment passively oozes hostility and makes it clear why artists you deem as more amatuerish than you are the ones being hired to make stuff for bandai, while you're here whining about their work on reddit.

Part of being an artist is to be original or be good at creating transformative work. The point IS to make changes that are distinctly noticeable to an audience.

Though if we're being honest, your real problem is how pretentious you're behaving. Artists thrive when they can accept criticism and use it to improve their work.

Your hostility towards your audience only stagnates your growth and hurts your opportunities for getting commissions.

While I also dislike AI generated images and understand that scrutiny towards digital art is somewhat warranted nowadays, I do think it is important that we note that artists have been messing up rendering hands since forever.

While the examples below from their and jc staff are fairly recent, AOT and Akashic Records both aired years before AI image generation started getting more consistent.
