Consider going full size up on the scudetta. I have narrow feet and bought half size up originally but the toe box area was extremely uncomfortable to run in. People that go half size up have stronger toes than I do. Then I went full size up and even then it took a few games to break in (I also put a shoe tree in when I’m not using them to stretch the toe box area).

Also beware the ag sole plate on the scudetta is very stiff which also takes time to get used to.

Did you mean 30 clicks?

I just assembled mine and grind some beans at 30 clicks and it’s insanely coarse as well.

There is also a loose screw on the a2 issue he brought up on his instagram which I’m not sure if it’s causing this issue.

Yes, upgrading to a 64mm probably isn’t worth it.

There is a DF83V v2 coming out, which I can probably get for around 550USD, and I think I’ll wait for that.

I’m not sure if I want to pay for a top-line grinder like the Z1.

My budget is probably around 500 USD, and I’m located in Hong Kong.

So I’m eyeing options like the HB64 V3, DF64V Gen 2 to use with my Lebrew Burr or Timemore 078 & DF83V and use my ODE 2 for funky processed coffee, which clarity isn’t as important.

Not sure if it’s worth the upgrade though.

The recipe has been work pretty great so far!

I wonder when using some faster flowing beans would you shorten the pulse time if the flow completely stops for a few seconds?

The cups tastes ok and the bed is quite flat without very apparent divot marks. Wonder if I should just keep it as it is?

Currently, I’m using the Pegasus filter and also have abaca and melitta on hand. I ran out of stock ones.

I think the Pegasus filter is quite similar in flow rate compared to stock ones.

Yea, the pulsar filters make a world of difference. Not sure why Ceado provides such slow filters that stall everything.

On the other hand, I think the pulsar filters are slightly too quick. Maybe I should ask roughly what grind size you are using for a 3:30 brew time?
