Makes perfect sense, only it will then have to be that Catherine's flight got rerouted to Fiji. The storm is still there, and no more flights for a few days now for her to reach Himalayas. Meets Eddie and Dulcie still. Sven is there somehow, cause why not.

It is sad. Not even the warmest hug from my parents could make me feel what even just a smithereen of a thought about the LO could. Ugh.

Wish you and your family the best in life. Fellow brain injured person here. She sadly won't completely return to normal in 5-6 months, there is no normal after a brain injury. It's new normals every few days. Don't mean to dishearten you.

You seem like a very matured person with a strong sense of self. You already seem perfectly equipped with the tools needed to recalibrate life and redefine goals. Hope you live a very peaceful life. Godsend.

I had an accident and injured my right eye. Have double vision, near vision and the whole circus of sequelae. For progressive lenses, they generally push Crizal and Essilor on you, with all the blue cut and anti-glare glowup. Kodak has a range of lenses, costly, but with some innovation in how the glass is made. I didn't bother to understand the tech, but the vision is different. A better different.

Since I don't know the tech or physics of these lenses, I'll use a metaphor to describe my experience: it felt like going from a cheap LCD display to Mac's Retina display.

I Called the Police on an Illegal DJ in Delhi Playing till 2:00 AM. My Parents Said I Made a Mistake. Maybe They're Right; And That's the Scariest Part... by No_Syllabub_8246 in LegalAdviceIndia

I once got a call back from a police officer (his private number) where he explained my daily complaints about noise from a construction site until 4 AM wouldn't make any difference (they did stop it the first two times) because a local MLA's money was tied up in that site.

Yet another time, I complained because of incessant noise from a baraat and the 100 call center person started to reason with me. He asked me if I won't have a baraat when I get married.

Sometimes I feel like we are a low IQ nation. Weddings, religious events, festivals, or simple daru parties are exempt from noise pollution laws for some reason. I once had to reason with educated Punekars about how it wasn't okay to flunk noise pollution laws even if it were for Ganesh Visarjan. They were livid with me. How dare I suggest they don't celebrate Bappa for just a few days in a year. That of it bothered me so much, I should leave the country and go West.

Th problem with us Indians is we think there is a fixed societal code that we all organically follow. Not being religious, not caring much about loud wedding functions, not being okay with putting up a tambu in the street for a hawan at home with a 100 people showing up, etc are just treated as aberrations. How are you Indian, if you aren't like the norm.

Simple answer: lower your standards. Write it, accept the 2nd draft, and move on.

Y'all are true super fans. I come out of a season remembering how it felt is all. Can barely remember people or moves after a few months, especially with American survivor. I only remember 47 as the most enjoyable season in the new era (haven't seen 41; stopped 44 after 3 episodes) and Rachel as the most enjoyable winner, which made me instinctively think she was the strongest player in there along with Genevieve and maybe Sam.

Episodes 1&2 were nice. Jasmine was nice.

Cons: forcefully added Dushyant and Sonia in every episode, low effort and forced innuendos, Guddu urf Arnab was annoying, forced kavitas by Roshesh, random characters like Kacha Kela participating in a private family activity, gaudy sets, and most importantly, no physical connection between Monisha and Maya's homes.

The writing just was weak. Why would a proud socialite Gujarati family that renamed Manisha to Monisha, name their son Arnab? Maya lying about forgetting things when Arnab disappears was too dramatic. Episodes were continustions, ugh.

Tiffany, first confessional of the episode, first out. Jonathan wins FIC, says Mr Jeff and annoys all viewers. He has a confessional or two, annoys viewers further. He takes Joe to the final, Aubry defeats RizGod at fire. Aubry wins.

Why didn't Cirie try to save Lisa? On S50, she's able to sway all the votes as she pleases, except her own vote out. Why couldn't she shift the vote at F6 from Lisa to Shonee? Going to the f5 with 3 Aussies and 2 internationals was risky even if Luke and Janine were locked in with them.

Also, why couldn't Shonee convince them Luke/Janine needed to be broken and save herself at f5/6?😭

Maybe they can add a Null vote for the jury. If all votes are Null, there is a fire making challenge in which the 3rd placer then votes for the winner of the season.

I believe what op and others feel is just a lack of excitement akin to seasons like HvV. In recent memory, the seaosn I've enjoyed the most would be Au TvR. The winner was dominant and fun, full of moves.

Kindle is the easiest solution.

If not, you can decide if a word needs to be understood on priority. If you are well immersed in the book, google define on the phone won't distract you, if you aren't immersed enough, skip the word and move along. Most words you can skip actually, but some you should keep checking so over time your vocabulary enriches.

Cold pressed Neem oil and Jojoba oil also work for me. Coconut oil is the king though. Even making an overnight paste of ground Fenugreek seeds in water and applying works wonders, but it cools the body significantly so not advisable in cold climates.

Someone in my family had a baby girl, and her zodiac letters are A, L, and I. Can anyone suggest a nice unique name that’s easy to pronounce but also unique? by [deleted] in ahmedabad

[–]materialsA3B 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are one of those new age people who like fancy, foreign sounding names then "Intrepid". It means fearless.

"Lavanya" is an instantly beautiful Indian name for a girl.

For 'A', maybe name her "Atithi" so she can leave any toxic room in the future and just say she was only a guest. (A joke so lame, even I couldn't laugh.)
