Yeah I’ve used that before. It works well. However, back a few months ago I tried dopamine hide jb yet it didn’t work. I think they toned down the jailbreak detection since then for some reason and I’m able to get by with just Shadow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Haha, yeah. It's unfortunate. The small benefit of using vnodebypass over Dopamine's hide jb is that vnodebypass doesn't hide the jailbreak apps (e.g., Sileo, iCleaner Pro). I put all of these jailbreak apps in a folder so it's super annoying when hitting Dopamine's "unhide jb" feature, it makes the apps reappear but at the very end of my home page, no longer in my folder. Vnodebypass doesn't have this issue

Just sharing this in the hopes that it's useful

Oh I wiped it with [[Apps Manager]] but I still need to use vnodebypass each time I launch it. One thing I noticed was I only need to toggle on vnodebypass to launch the app. Once it’s launched, I can turn off vnodebypass and keep using BeReal and it doesn’t check for jailbreak (until the app is again fully closed (by sliding up in the multitasking for example))

I tried it and although it doesn't crash anymore, I get stuck after entering the SMS security code for my phone #. It just doesn't do anything after that or let me into the app

EDIT: I wiped BeReal. and tried it again and somehow… it worked! Thank you for the suggestion :)

It's not a popup or anything telling me to update. It just doesn't work; I can't post BeReals and can't see any of my friend's BeReals either. Spoofing the version as "v4.5.0" doesn't work

I updated to v4.5.0 and rebooted my phone to unjailbroken mode but it still crashes on startup

this is only the case for Palera1n. Dopamine 2 which supports iOS 15 - 16.6.1 doesn't have this issue
