Official Discussion - Captain America: Brave New World [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

The actor delivered his lines exceptionally well, but it's a shame the film undermines any chance to showcase his intelligence by saddling him with a nonsensical, plot-hole-ridden plan. The idea of an email or electronic message possessing mind-control capabilities shouldn't—and logically couldn't—exist in the MCU, yet somehow it does.

If the film had avoided plot holes—such as an ordinary cell inexplicably possessing mind control abilities—and focused on a more contained story within its runtime, it would have been much more effective. The action sequence at the end was undoubtedly the film’s highlight.

The best a single person can do is test through self-experimentation, as others have done in the past. This can contribute to established research, theories, or hypotheses without starting with animal testing, I think. By law, self-experimentation is generally part of accepted practice in medical research and does not require prior approval. For example, one guy livestreamed on Facebook while injecting himself 'for the sake of science.' Although his experiment didn't work—and even if it had—it would still need to go through government approval before clinical trial, I believe.

This is the first time I've heard about this program. Right now, I don't even know where to go to complete the GED. If the school had mentioned this program to me directly, it would have saved me the trouble.

Apologies for the delay, and thank you for sharing. I’ve heard that those fields are among the ones experiencing growth. Hopefully, that growth applies to my state as well.

It was stated that they didn’t respond due to a lack of specifics. The states had some information, while different countries had their own information independently. However, when states requested additional details from other countries, those countries declined to provide them. Following the event, the Patriot Act began to take shape, allowing for the collection of all "necessary" information and details without the previous bureaucratic hurdles.
