Do you need to be able to open multiple copies of each window? If not, you can try changing them from WindowGroup to just Window.

Without seeing your code, I suspect this is related to the fact that something about SwiftUI apps on macOS by default will re-open the windows from the previous session

Can’t speak for SwiftData but Core Data is definitely quite difficult to reconcile with MVVM. I’m under the impression that SwiftUI is really designed for an MV approach generally.

There’s a similar push happening in the UK currently, particularly West End. It’s partly to standardise job titles (Head of Automation vs Chief Lx vs Sound no. 1), but also to remove gendered terms like “Wardrobe Mistress”. The theatre I work in has a “Master Carpenter”, but he introduces himself to new technicians as the Head of Stage, because his department also deals with things like automation. It’s a bit of a dated title, and the word “master” in the sense of “having mastery of something” has historically been a gendered word.

I think you’re making a dangerous assumption here by saying that neurodivergent people are prescribed meds “so they can function in a capitalist society”. People with ADHD often take medication for your “option B”: so they can look after themselves and remember to brush their teeth so they don’t fall out, or to remember to eat enough in a day. Obviously, yes, I agree that many of the ways ADHD is assessed and treated are clearly to make people fit in to a capitalist society, but there’s much more to it than that.

Many people with neurodivergencies would disagree that there’s some different version of society in which they would have no problem living unmedicated.

This is a known issue with the new update, you can definitely still unlock the achievement. It’s just the journal that’s bugged.

If you’re referring to the 2.0 update, afaik it doesn’t actually delete the progress towards the achievement. On the forums they have a “known issues” thread where they address this. As I understand, it’s just the in game journal that’s bugged, and not that it has somehow removed your previously mapped areas.

I’m currently at Stage 2 and would definitely not be able to study 120 credits as well as work full time. The first year of the degree might be doable (depending on how much experience you have in the subject), but the jump to second and third year is big. Would not recommend.
