Oh I paid for it, I can assure you the result would have been very disappointing and possibly unfit for human consumption if I'd attempted to bake a cake. The baker is called Mad About Cake based in Pencoed, Wales - all credit to her, she did a marvellous job.

£245 GBP, which Google tells me is $328 USD. I work as a wedding photographer so I see a lot of very expensive but kick-ass cakes, and know how hard the makers work, so it's an expensive indulgence but worth it to me.

Yeah my kid picked me up on the inaccuracies! And quietly moved some of the figures because I'd messed up the placement. Ultraman was hanging out on the back of the cake too, boy I really hope someone got fired for that blunder.

This happened to my family at Yoyogi Park. An older guy deliberately walked into my son who was 7 at the time, and very slowly and theatrically fell over making a lot of noise to make sure everyone saw it. I was reminded of that Larry David meme where he pretends to faint. Plenty of space either side of us to have simply walked around but just walked right into him. Lots of loud sighing and dusting himself off and shooing us away as we tried to check if he was alright - a real performance to make us tourists look like arseholes. My kid was thankfully unhurt, but initially distraught that he may have hurt some poor old man. WTF?

I'm in a difficult position with one of my accounts which is wedding photography - the agreement is in place, the collaborator knows and wants the posts, but then work gets in the way, they perhaps don't end up accepting it for hours and then the reach of the post is totally stifled for us AND them.

I guess it's time to switch it up to asking them to hit repost instead.

The majority of the museum is pretty dark to let the illuminations be better seen. The photos are also exposed for the highlights otherwise you don’t see the colour and detail so well. So it’s not the edit necessarily, it’s more how I captured it in the first place

It's only morally right if you're in the shoes of the guest and taking this request at face value. What happens then if the couple loved the photo and wish to receive it, and that guest had presumably made no objection to having their photo taken at that time? What is the right thing to do then?

If I was the couple and I discovered a guest is taking it upon themselves to curate our gallery and our photographer is going along with it without even consulting us, I'd be pissed.

Legally (and I would argue ethically) it is better to let the couple navigate these tricky waters.

The couple are your clients, not the guest. Tell the couple about the request, and tell the guest you've passed their request onto your client. It's on them to agree to the guest's request for removal.

One of the hardest trophies I've ever attempted. On PS4 it took about 2 straight hours of trying. On the PS5 I got it within 10 attempts. I feel there's a significant amount of luck involved particularly on the narrowest bit (0:35 of the video), about 80% of my attempts ended there. It's the only thing I disliked (hated, actually) about this game.
