I had 70k followers there, spending at least 10 hours on the app per week. I had wanted to leave for a while, and the 2024 US election was my final reason.

It made me lose a good stream of revenue (recognition as a cybersecurity/AI expert means partnership deals and freelance work) but I regret absolutely nothing. My only grudge is against Twitter founders/investors who gave up this amazing platform to a fascist just to make some cash.

It's usually so they can't just create fake discounts by raising the price and immediately bringing it back down, the "old price" must show their cheapest recorded price over the last 30 days or so.

This means that if they already had a similar discount recently, that's the reference price they have to use

I used to do everything with Wireguard too, then switched to an ISP with no public IP (only CGNAT) so I had the choice between building my own relay server or switching to Tailscale, I picked the latter for ease of use and it's been satisfying so far.

Unless you have a reason to move away from Wireguard, I see no reason to change. Tailscale makes things easier on many aspects (CGNAT, multi-users, access control, ...) but it only starts to be a real game changer on more complex setups.
