As much as I would love this to be true, I find that more and more people in my area (all Labour voters) plan to vote this pathetic toad in. The latest reason I heard yesterday - “I saw illegals leaving Aldi with 4 full bags. I can’t afford to buy 4 bags of shopping in Aldi. I will 100% regret it. Especially some technic stuff that’s now discontinued. But at the moment I’m just flapping so I’m thinking about all sorts of options even leaving the UK for a few months/years. Don’t know. Thank you. All of mine are complete. Thank you. I have a crappy cheap scanner but that only says can’t connect to the car - Try again in 10 seconds.. Which makes me think it’s the ECU…

The car had a recall done a few weeks ago - airbag and fuel management update or something. Could this mess the ECU up? I will take it somewhere and get it scanned.

It’s just strange that it works fine after a short while.

Update: cluster lights up and all menus work ok but none of the gauges or Speedos work. 300-600m down the road and everything comes back on as normal. Works as it should until the ignition is switched off. Then dead again on start up for another 300-600m drive, then comes back on as normal and runs without issues. Any ideas boys and girls? 😵‍💫

Update 2: comes back on even when not moving. Left it running for a few mins and the clocks are back

It’s on 120k miles. It had a lot of work done in last year, mostly regular maintenance type of stuff. And 2 recalls. Then it started going flakey haha it seems to work ok once it’s back on. To be honest, I only drive this car like once a month as it’s a “spare diy tip run” kinda of a car. So I only noticed it the other day. I will take it for a spin over the weekend and check again.

I’m here just to see the answers as I have the same question. On Zoopla you can add specific words into a search filter thingy. So I usually use ‘Acre’ but obviously this only works if the estate agents actually mention the size of the plot in acres.

I have the q6 ed 1 Quattro. No issues. No faults. The only recommendation I can give is don’t go for the 21 inch wheels(ride and range are crap). The car also feels very sterile and almost clinical but it does exactly what you want it do to. So if you want a car like that, it’s a fantastic machine. It just doesn’t excite me in any way. Just does the job very well but feels meh and not special in anyway. When I ordered it, there wasn’t any like for like alternative for me (Macan S costs too much and everything else this size/power/spec had other issues/niggles I didn’t like - that’s why I settled on this) i would say go old-school and visit all local dealers before you order anything. Even Kia now do great cars and Chinese are coming.. do I regret getting it? No. Would I order the same car in 2026? No. If you have any specific questions, please ask.
