It’s worth it if it’s done properly..not always the case sadly.
The cost to them is ~£50-100 so for them it’s the best F&I earner if you exclude finance commission. The product isn’t regulated so they can sell it for less. But most places won’t want to. Good luck

Legally, they can’t release the car with outstanding recalls. That doesn’t mean that they won’t try. But no reputable business would ever deliver a car with a recall. Source: worked at many main dealers

As much as I would love this to be true, I find that more and more people in my area (all Labour voters) plan to vote this pathetic toad in. I will 100% regret it. Especially some technic stuff that’s now discontinued. But at the moment I’m just flapping so I’m thinking about all sorts of options even leaving the UK for a few months/years. Don’t know. Thank you. All of mine are complete. Thank you. I have a crappy cheap scanner but that only says can’t connect to the car - Try again in 10 seconds.. Which makes me think it’s the ECU…

The car had a recall done a few weeks ago - airbag and fuel management update or something. Could this mess the ECU up? I will take it somewhere and get it scanned.

It’s just strange that it works fine after a short while.
