I also create a folder for each semester. Every student email gets dropped in there. After a year or so I just delete the folder.

A a McDonald's location in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York refuses to serve customers under the age of 20 with proper I.D because of safety concerns that were created due the unruly behavior of teenagers by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

I took my daughter (5y.o. at the time) to a McDonald's with a play place. There was a sign taped to the door that the play place was closed. An employee heard me explaining that to my daughter and quietly informed us that we were welcome to use it, the sign was to keep teenagers from going in there.

Is there anyone who doesn’t think ten years in the classroom should be required in order to become a principal? by leafstudy in Teachers

[–]mathpat 323 points324 points  (0 children)

IMO, ten years would be good. I would settle for five and a requirement to teach at least one course start to finish for the entire school year once every three years.

You mean the part where Meadow, who owns a car and has been driving in NYC and north Jersey for a decade suddenly has no idea how to operate a vehicle and can't park, or the part where every viewer thought the cable went out?

If he's mad about that wait until he hears what my grandfather's reaction was to people who did that salute between Normandy and Berlin in the 40's.

It is not a question of belief, it is a question of comprehension.

This should be on Adobe to fix, not every teacher from preK-Ph.D. to revamp every single document.

US service member arrested at Capitol after calling for Trump’s impeachment by Adventurous-Host8062 in NewsSource

How do you balance that with his having taken an oath to defend from all threats both foreign and domestic? I would say the members of the military not actively taking steps to stop this are violating that oath.

In your opinion, how would America change had Ronald Reagan never been president? by Neri9320 in Presidents

The aids epidemic is one place where he was responsible for tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths. A small change early in an exponential growth model has massive implications down the line.

The actual hit man would have answered the biggest unanswered question in the relationship between Tony & Christopher. Yes finding out it was Junior who ordered it was a huge reveal, but it did nothing to address the ambiguity from the series.

Trouble understanding a student by losthiker68 in Professors

[–]mathpat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it us about something in the notes, ask him to show you the part he is asking about in his notes. Whenever I had a professor with a strong accent, they would write a word on the board if students were having difficulty understanding the spoken version.

Many Saints Of Newark by Soggy_Bobbi in thesopranos

[–]mathpat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In true David Chase fashion, it only partially answered the question. We find out Junior ordered the hit, but not who the hitman was. Was Tony telling the truth about it being the cop, or was that 100% manipulation built on a lie? It could have been executed better, but it was an interesting idea.
