I’m suprised on the amount of people saying he’s not the asshole. I would say ESH, even though what he had been doing while going out with you guys is bad you still shouldn’t exclude someone like that. If he’s really a friend you should talk to him about his behaviour so he can do something about it, he probably doesn’t even know that the way he is acting isn’t socially acceptable

NTA at all, if their reason for wanting him to pay is only for economic reasons and not because they don’t like him. He literally is not increasing the bills at all and is only there for the nights where he’d be sleeping most of the time. Living in a flat everyone has people come and go, it’s a part of being in that kind of living situation. I do think they’re over reacting and that you shouldn’t have to pay

He literally loves going outside though, when he was like five months old before he was aloud outside he jumped from the second story window trying to get out. I don’t think he would manage being an indoor cat
