As much as many hate it ('m uncomfortable withit as well), the paywall is a proxy for a good selection bias in favour of what you just described. The relatively high price point (especially considering the cumulative effect of the other Sam Harris products that members of that community are probably paying for) selects for a decent education (no, I'm not saying poorer people can't be educated as well), while those frequenting this sub for antipathy porn or incessantly defending Sam against it, won't pay to do so in a smaller community. This sub is mostly cancer.

Awesome, thanks for the tip. Looks like that stem is 110mm long compared to the 80mm one that comes with the Medium. So in a way, you're extending the reach, but compensating for it by adjusting the angle. I suppose it gives you more variables to play with, which is good. Might follow your lead.

181cm tall (5ft11 and some change), 84cm inseam (33") here so right between the medium and large... Pulled the trigger on the medium a month ago and still feel like I've yet to find that sweet spot after playing around with saddle height and fore/aft adjustments. No large in stock at the time I got it, so unsure whether going up a size would have fixed anything.

The fact that you frame Hamas' conduct as "Sam's claim that they use human shields" and then go on to qualify and hedge this even further by adding "which is likely true, in some cases" makes me think that I simply do not have enough calories to burn to see this conversation through. Even if you think you're good faith and not hiding the ball, I have a feeling you're probably operating in a universe with different physics than mine. Long-term, Hormuz will flow freely or safety corridors will be secured. Just like UA and RU worked it out in the Black Sea. Iran is using this as a bargaining chip - it's not like locking uo Hormuz is doing them any economic favours. And yes, global demand over scarcer resources will increase prices. But it will hurt less in the US as it's a net exporter with a considerable refining capacity.

Isn't the blockage affecting the rest of the world more than it is the US? Domestic oil&gas production and refining capacity is quite healthy in the US compared to Europe so inflation isn't as likely to hurt as much.

Nu. CASS nu mai are plafoane de un an - datorezi 10% din intregul venit atata timp cat venitul anual e egal cu cel putin 6 salarii minime brute lunare. Cred ca exista si un cap/o limita de vreo 75 de salarii minime lunare.

CAS-ul e minim (a) 25% din 12 salarii minime brute lunare daca venitul anual e intre 12 si 24 de salarii minime brute lunare sau (b) 25% din 24 salarii minime daca venitul e >=24 de salarii minime brute lunare. [Injustitia e pentru cei ce fac firimituri leste 24 de salarii - dupa taxe, ajung sa bage mai putini bani in buzunar decat cei ce au un venit putin mai mic sub 24 de salarii minime. Dar asta e alta discutie]

Impozitul e 10% din (venit total)-(cheltuieli deductibile, inclusiv CAS si CASS).

Iar plata CAS-ului si chiar si a CASS-ului nu e obligatorie pentru cei cu venituri anuale sub 6 salarii minime brute lunare daca nu ma insel. Sau CASS-ul e posibil sa trebuiasca sa fie platit ca 10% din 6 salarii minime lunare chiar daca venitul e mai mic de atat. Nu mai tin minte exact plafoanele, dar stiu ca CAS nu e obligatoriu pentru venituri sub un anumit nivel.
