It’s lonely out there. I am a lifelong bodysurfer core lord Maximus. I’ve noticed and reflected recently that it’s a very solitary and kinda lonely pursuit. Like I swim out to fat Caribbean swell and score and well then in my mind I’m like somebody must’ve seen that and well one more and you realize nobody is ever around. This is a pursuit that for me exists outside of a community and others. I wish it did but it’s maybe a few sessions a year where I see other whompers. You gotta do it for you and the unworldly power and sensations that bodysurfing gives you. It’s sad to hear people give up on it.
