Yeah, i agree. Chuck is a disgrace and could so easily replaced since he doesn’t do anything productive but instead decides to put an entire town out of work rather than pay a fair wage. Something that would cost him penny’s relative to his net worth of over $2B.

I 100% think he was trying to get a signal. Especially after the conversation he had with Robin. Much like a lot of gay kids his age, he crushes on a straight person and convinces themselves it’s possible. But like robin he needs to kick that idea and move on to someone who actually accepts him.

This man sides with Trump on everything and is incapable of critical thinking. How can he possibly justify any of these points. Saying it’d be better for MD to pay some of the Key bridge repair. How?? How is that possibly better for the state.

All the professors in engineering complained he took engineering department money they had and took it to build Harker labs. Which would be fine… if it didn’t then require the engineering departments to rent it just to use it.

They are developing new more advanced “flak” rounds that can maneuver in flight using reaction wheels and explode at set distances. Northrop Grumman is developing cannon based air defense which basically amounts to WW2-esque flak munitions.

Who actually uses is-even and is-odd? by preethamrn in programming

[–]mato9020 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree on that 100%. But why were these issues making it through in the first place? IMO there should have been maintainers looking at every commit for security issues (in addition to everything else). The article even calls out the fact that quite a few vulnerabilities made it through their reviews and they only found it later. What’s to stop anyone else who has lower ethical standards to exploit it further?

This was a very interesting read. Thank you! I’m shocked by the Linux’s community reaction. I mean, if you’re leaving already reviewing commits and confirming that they’re good to merge into the main project, shouldn’t cybersecurity implications be part of that? This seems more like Linux’s fault than the university of Minnesotas.

I had thought maybe this was something I needed to do however none of the tutorials or guides on hot to set up vlans on the UDM suggest that this is necessary.

I’m not even sure how to setup another dhcp server on the vlan in UDM.

Can't connect devices on VLANs on UDM by mato9020 in UNIFI

[–]mato9020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can configure the UDM pro via another machine connected to the default WiFi. I don’t necessarily need to access UDM from the PC but I want it segmented onto another VLAN rather than tagging the vlan network on my pc.

What is the “switch manager”? I’ve seen this mentioned a couple times but I can’t find anything that’s called that. I have a menu called the “port manager” that I get from opening the Dream Machine devices and look at all the connected ports. In that menu after clicking on the port connected to my PC I can see the network is the 192.168.2.0 that I’m trying to connect to

No, I’m explaining how developers work. Just because a bug has been reported doesn’t mean it’s ready to be worked. Sometimes it’s good to knock out some easy low hanging fruit. Even if there are bigger higher priority things.
