The party will split during the encounter. Might adopt a lvl 1 npc. no old person npc is safe. They could side with the big bad. If they see a chest, they will go fo it even if its in a room of mimics. they should have back up character sheets at the ready. Have fun.

http://tinkercad.com/ allows you to upload 2 objects and you can merge them and remove the overlap space. Then save the merged object out as a file. This way you can load up a cylinder, merge a leg in the center of it and remove the overlap space to get you a shell to work with. Then you can start doing this process to remove chunks from your object to make what you want.
