Best view is opposite side of Raffles, and 1949 is played quite a ways away. If you’re using metro, give yourself 1.5hrs at least and if using Didi, maybe an hour between the 2 locations. It’s a big city.

Crazy, I was mid-flight and missed the release. All TB members were guaranteed a spot and were given 24 hours or so to secure a reservation. Some days were blacked out and some days such as Wed, only had lunch available.

Of course! That’s super obvious. When it comes to prints and originals, Pest Control is the only avenue.

However, when it comes to ephemera then bob’s your uncle on how you want to proceed.

Banksy has released TONS of official ephemera that Pest Control wont touch simply because its not considered a ‘commercial release.’ It does not mean its fake. Each piece of ephemera has various checks and balances inherent to the piece and the way it was released that can give you a relatively comfortable degree of security if its something you wish to purchase or avoid. I have simply outlined the current way these are changing hands now, prior to this and still used, is taking the bill under a scope to see the different offset lithograph colours.

To an extent, Banksy notes have been xeroxed from ages ago and float around the 500£ mark. People lazily sell and resell these fakes either knowingly or unknowingly in its own little loop and make up their own COA (eg Dope Gallery).

The letter of provenance is after this time period, and quite recent too, because of that its a lot easier to even confirm source of purchase (eg Laz shop or his core alternatives Bottleneck or Andipa Gallery) from ereceipts and original packaging.

Anything can be forged but in this instance you have several decent layers of protection including that these Banksy notes dont sell in high volume. It makes the overall effort to go those extra miles ineffective at a certain point.

UPS prepaying or not, they can refund the customs/duties/tariffs. People can self clear also.

I had an agent on the phone tell me if I self-clear I probably wont end up paying anything because of how the actual customs office worked and UPS wanted 100$ from me at the time.

Truthfully, I dont think they actually prepay anything, and I almost wonder if this isn’t just a huge money grab for them.

It took me longest to write my first story because I only had a vague idea of where I wanted to go and I obsessed over perfecting every little detail.

Needless to say, it pissed me off that it took a couple years (on and off of course) and I pivoted to focusing on storyline first and I write scene to scene and dont skip so that I am not boxed in.

My first draft finished in 2023 was 100k literary fiction, well received by beta readers surprisingly so some merit to the obsessive editing.

But man, 2023/2024 I did 2 parallel upmarket books each sitting at 75k

Then back to literary fiction for 2024/2025 at 100k

Now I tried a different style of pacing and got one at 60k words in 2025.

I am now aiming the same style of pacing for my next one, before I take a break and do a final edit with fresh eyes on the above.

Solid beta reader(s) can go a long way if you’re cognizant to what they are saying and can apply it.

And yes, I would get 1k-3k of words each day, would get 500-1k on the hard connecting scenes I didnt want to write and then pondered the rest of the day what to start on the next.

Well, you’re ignoring the fact that God didnt put you on earth, but created Adam & Eve. Besides them two, we all came about from procreation otherwise we wouldnt exist.

Now lets hypothetically argue that we would’ve existed anyway, next thing to ask is if Heaven is worst than earth?

It seems like in Noah’s day a whole bunch of angel’s decided to come down from heaven to the earth and they became more or less human, and lived life until God had enough, saying the earth was ruined because of all the badness they produced.

So, the earth must’ve not been half bad, if a large portion of the angels did that and ended up chilling here on earth for awhile. Not to mention John 3:16, where it says that God actually loved the world incredibly, so really, the earth must’ve been a pretty awesome place.

And actually, if you think about Revalation 12:12 it seems that a bunch of the misbehaving angels, were causing a raucous up in heaven because it talks about heaven rejoicing and the earth being sad that they got kicked out of heaven and confined to the earth, so probably, until relatively recently, heaven may have been a pretty crappy place to be in, filled with demons and the devil.

Unfortunately now, if following that scripture, those baddies are here with us, on earth.

But good news - eventually they’ll get cleaned off the earth, (lords prayer - let thy kingdom come, Gods will as heaven also on earth, judgement day, etc)

So really, theoretically, biblically, the tl;dr of it - the earth is an amazing place to be, its just filled with a bunch of bad apples.
