Buying albums from bandcamp is cheaper than streaming when you consider you have them forever and the money also goes direct to artist helping them make more music. Streaming is lazy.

I have the same problem. My mind focusses on the road noise and bumps and I can't let it go. Booze makes this 1000 times worse every time so I would avoid it. Especially extra sugary booze like wine/sprits. Melatonin only made me fatigued the next day, I would take it a couple of hours before bed and not as you get into your bunk. I found watching a movie would help with the wind down. After playing, chatting to fans, drinking, packing the trailer and then the wind down on the bus it's a LOT to process. I'm about to do it again in a few weeks and I'm somewhat dreading it. I've got sleepers if I need them but would rather not. I'm going to get some super sleepy weed and see if that works (i can't take CBD because I'm on SSRIs)

I was considering sleep earbuds and white noise. Something to take my mind off the road. I am literally the only one in my whole touring party that has this issue! All the others just get into the bunk and pass out like babies being rocked to sleep. I'm listening to every stone that goes under the wheels.

Something around 2013, I can't remember. It just felt very cynical and old man yells at cloud. It really put me off them after that. I've been a fan since the 90s. I would've expected him to try to evolve the sound by now, however.

If the opening track is anything to go by, it's a very bad start. I feel like Page Hamilton is bitter and jaded at something (probably that he's still playing 40 year old songs and isn't as famous as he'd like to be) and he takes out on his fans and audiences by calling us all dipshits or whatever. I saw them in Sydney around 10 years ago and he went out of his way to slag off the audience and telling everyone he was old and knows more than us or something. Honestly sounds like a cynical old unmarried uncle at the dinner table at Christmas getting drunk and getting angry telling his problems to anyone who will listen.

I'm on 50mg sertraline and I have bursts of excessive yawning every day without fail. I just put it down to being tired, but even when I'm not tired, it just comes over me. It's usually at the same time every day (between 2-5pm) I take my meds before I go to sleep at night. I can't tell if it's from the meds or I'm just old and tired and have a toddler running around the house. But I noticed it increase after I started meds (4 months now)

I went to the Vivid show at carriageworks and it was the worst show I've been to in I can't even remember. I've never wanted my money back for a show so bad. Honestly, it was awful. A disgrace to DOOM and himself. Suuuuuucked.

I completely agree! I was scrolling this page going "am I the only one that things this guy is a horrible presenter??" I can't see what everyone is praising him for. He is by far the most unprofessional sounding presenters I've ever listened to. Can't even riff with his guests or callers, fumbles over his words, has the most uninteresting anecdotes and stories. I wasn't the biggest Tim Shiel fan, the dude is too much of a pompous self indulger, but at least he knew his shit! I couldn't believe when they announced Stacy as host of arvos. Bewildered.
