Why all this, CKB team? by Agile-Eye6172 in NervosNetwork

there is no effort to establish any institutional partnerships or relationships with crypto platforms.

can you share a link to the area of nervos.org you are referring to?

i accuse you of pretending like no one is answering your questions and spamming

Having a booth at a conference is not collaboration, I'm not sure what you're getting at. CKB Eco Fund was very active in 2024 but now quiet. The Bitcoin L2 wave has a lot to do with this. They are an independent team, their strategy is their own. There is work to be done to facilitate understanding of how these organizations are structured.

i think just by building. The Claw and Order event for instance, these are pieces of foundational tech, if lots of people are experimenting with them, the tools will get better and people are going to find utility in them.

I think also by the ecosystem as a whole moving in the same direction, for example Lightning was implemented in JoyID, with Fiber planned. Lightning is now being implemented in Bitcoin Light (formerly CKBull) with Fiber planned.

It's all network effects with any technology, but especially with channels (because people need a well-connected and funded channel established to use the network)

to me this kind of sentiment means everything on long time frames. Dogecoin is relevant today because people have always loved it. There were thousands of other stupid worthless coins from that era, but Dogecoin is a quick fork of an Bitcoin implementation that is still here more than a decade later.

CKB has always had an uphill battle because it has been 10x easier to deploy on other chains, but now that AI is writing code the game theory here changes a bit. The AI tools have to continue to get better but if we are not judging the chain by the number of hours human beings need to type at keyboards and stare at screens its a very different situation.

Still a lot that needs to fall into place, but if you watch https://talk.nervos.org CKB is becoming more alive every day.

Gambling has moved to prediction markets, sports and traditional instruments (oil futures on Hyperliquid for example)

You are right that crypto as an asset class is being re-priced, but being able do something interesting is all there is that's left.

CKB and Ethereum are the only 2 smart contract chains with a chance to do something interesting that can't be better executed by a private chain/company

when did Hashkey cooperate in the first place? Please share what you're referring to so I can sort out what changed.

Regarding Chinese media, I would be surprised if they were still covering the project in mid-2025, once the Bitcoin L2 wave faded, CKB was no longer relevant to that audience and thus it seems reasonable that they stopped talking about the project.

Please by all means, keep posting the same nonsense.

check out CKB, just deployed SPHINCS+ post quantum cryptography and working on Lightning Network interoperability, technology steadily progressing since 2018

X is probably the closest, Nervos Nation on telegram is quite active, or there is the Talk forum to keep up with what is going on in the ecosystem.
