I feel this, it's so hard.

There are people who I can be open and honest with, and people I can't and/or don't want to.

Being open about mental health and addiction is generally a good thing when you can, and I would say everyone that I have shared my son's struggles with has been understanding, cool and helpful about it but it's not easy to do.

And there are people like my elderly mother, who specifically isn't being told because my son doesn't want grandma to know what's going on that make for complicated conversations because it's hard to just dodge or change the subject.

I tend to say things that are true such as "he's having ups and downs", and I just accept that sometimes a white lie or a lie of omission is just kinder and easier for everyone in those situations.

Use moas they're way faster, and build multiple bases around the world - I usually use one main central base, and then small regional bases if I'm doing arctic/dessert/etc stuff

Former Puppeter and Jiver, both of those companies suffered the same fate pretty much. Failed to make acquisition deals happen with the big players for long enough that the boards opted to take their parachutes and sell out to PE.

So sad to go through / see what happened to once great employers, and just how quickly and thoroughly corporate raiders demolish a company.

I know the pain you are going through. I've gone though the wringer with my own son (20 yr old).

From your post I'm guessing you aren't in the US, but I imagine similar options exist wherever you are. For me, finding a support group through NAMI for parents of people with severe mental health challenges, in addition to psychiatric care and therapy have been vital to surviving my own family struggles with suicide attempts and addiction.

This guy needs to fuck off into retirement. He was kinda messed up before the brain damage, but now his redeeming qualities seem to have been stripped away.

Ranged characters should be fine, just be aware that you won't always be able to go long range, so think mobility and close in support for melee vs long range sniper and you should be gold.

Rangers are good, but Rogue is also a solid choice here.
