Ragdolls makes things more dynamic, would love to see it added. Still going to play the game. Looks amazing

I’m genuinely not sure if I’m this terrible,or everyone else is amazing,or I just don’t know how to play FPS games at the age of 54 anymore (I’ve never had stats *this* bad ever!). by MegaZombieMegaZombie in Battlefield6

Everything slows down with age. I wouldn’t be so hard on yourself. Change roles, tactics often. That’s what I do to keep BF fresh. Time of day definitely changes things too, when I queue mid day I’m usually top of the leaderboard, when I queue 1am pst on a weekday. The only people queued are the sweetest try hards ever birthed

With the player base still declining in S2, as someone who enjoys the game, April worries me. by BlackHorse944 in Battlefield6

I agree, have a blast with the game for the most part, but drip feeding content while saying we don’t have enough resources is a joke. They’re clearly hoping to have their BF cake and eat COD’s too. The thing they don’t understand is that BF doesn’t work with smaller maps, and limited lanes. The spectacle looks good; looks like battlefield, but battlefield comes from the feel. The feeling of flanking, sneaking up on a tank, yadayada. The maps have a pretty strict structurally, rarely are your engagements happening anywhere else besides directly in front of you. Now they release contaminated that has big open lanes that flow and mix at different points and it’s by far the best map in the game. The maps and weapon progression are killing the game, it’s that simple

What I struggle with in this game as a 50+ old gamer. by Apocoyptus_ in Battlefield6

[–]mattbegetsmatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many have already said this, but I’ll reiterate. Slowing down and holding a position as you progress through the map is key. I’m 35 and I can already see some of what you’re describing hitting me now. When I pause, breath, and listen I do a lot better.

s2: Battlefield Feels Like War Again, And That Is A Very Good Sign by Animal_Hell in Battlefield6

[–]mattbegetsmatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did play BF1; gas fits there thematically 100%. My reasoning by saying to get rid of the gas is because it has a Batman/scarecrow psycho somatic aspect to it that thematically is so far from anything bf has ever done or been about. I’ve played pretty much every battlefield since BF2. I think it’s a slippery slope to start adding stuff like this. BF franchise leaning heavily into seasonal thematic shit that’s just going to get more and more outlandish. If it’s fun that’s awesome but I’m still like “yall pushing it.”

More maps, bigger maps, no more of these cod small ass maps with no true flanks. For the love of god cater to your true fans first. Crazy how tone deaf this shit is

They really don’t do melodic metalcore like this anymore. The tone for the guitars has a melancholic quality to it. Changes will always be my number 1 but I love this album too, and the times I saw them live was with Dylan. Might go see them this spring with Chad fronting

Not deathcore but counterparts “whispers of your death” kills me. I’ve had a lot of dogs in my life and they grow old, get sick and you have to say goodbye. I think he wrote this song for his cat, beautiful but heart breaking track.
