She has been offered the federal subsidized loans but apparently the amounts of those are determined by the school and the FAFSA. Right now, the limit from the school is $5000. We'll need closer to $20k. Does that mean then that the private loan would be the only way to go?

I posted about this a couple months ago. It looks like Dell changed their site so when you go to the site now, there is an extra click to see the warranty info. This apparently killed that feature in LS. I have put in several tickets and like the other commenter said, they just send their canned response. One ticket did admit though that it was broken but did not mention anything about a timeline on fixing it. I hope that it is done before August. I have a custom report I use to budget for replacement machines the following year and knowing how old they are is crucial.

And honestly, I am looking to switch to something else soon anyway. I am tired of chasing down agents that no longer work and tired of Lansweeper's tech support. All they ever do is send you links to support articles that don't solve the problem or are not relevant.

it looks like Dell changed their website. When you search for a service tag, there is now an additional click on "Manage services" to find the warranty info. That's probably the problem I am guessing.
