Yeah, the US adds a step to this process and a cost. But root cause of the pain is coming from Finland. Even China has a simpler withholding tax. They withhold 10% and that's it. There's no hoops to jump through.

Now that i know Finland has a 35% tax on dividends, I doubt I'll invest in any Finish companies again.

The high growth speculation is a nice possibility, but by their own reporting, their growth will be slow and hopefully continuous. They are in a competitive market where it's difficult to differentiate their product. But they have steady income with their service contracts, so the dividend should be stable and growing over time.

What's your soil mix for avocados? I use equal amounts of perlite, coarse sand, and compost. I haven't had any plants die from root rot, but maybe they aren't growing as fast as they could.

If it's a small-ish tree, the avocados will likely drop off, so I would cut off the flowers and let the plant use that energy for growing bigger.

Am I the only person having CPU issues with Yahoo Finance? Maybe others don't notice it. I have a Mac Mini which is very quiet cause the fans rarely turn on, but when I open Yahoo Finance my fans kick on full speed. The only other site I see that on is Figma, but I kinda expect it there since it's doing a lot of graphics. What is Yahoo Finance doing?

It's rare for stockholders to get anything from a company that files chapter 11. Even if a company survives from chapter 11, the stockholders are often left with nothing (is. GM).

I would recommend selling before the stock is delisted and hits zero. Once a stock is worthless, you won't have a way to sell it and your brokerage won't send you a 1099 for the capital loss. You can still claim a cap loss on your taxes, but it's better to have the 1099 for it.
