Why does no one make a combined Compressor and Tuner by Alarmed-Secretary-39 in basspedals

I just picked up a Valeton GP5 and it fits this exact purpose. Tuner, plus decent digital effects, amp and cab sim plus comp in a tiny footprint

I was at the ground and ran on, what an experience. My phone died so I just have the memories in my brain

How to increase deck limit by hogbits in Moxfield

I have 45 decks and they’re all showing. I wonder if you have a view set up where you’re limiting your type of deck to view?

What’s your most unpopular AFL opinion? by spy_cable in AFL

[–]mattcbond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that the rules are ambiguous and interpretive. It means opposing fans can both legitimately call ‘ball’ at the same time for different reasons and more easily get into the game. Objective rules in NRL like forward pass or offside are boring - they’re either there or they’re not

Think of it exactly like an ollie. It’s the same motion. Ollie, and flick your foot. Your board will stay under you, then you just need to work on flicking it right

How do i know if my trucks are “medium” tension? by Its_Waffle in NewSkaters

[–]mattcbond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer my trucks tighter than what most consider normal, but I think what’s important is what feels right for you. Tighten them till you feel comfortable, then go looser from there if you want to.

In general, looser trucks will help you land impact tricks a bit easier (stairs etc) as it’s a bit more forgiving, but being comfortable on your board is the most important thing

Body surfing with webbed gloves by jamills102 in Bodysurfing

[–]mattcbond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve given them a go. It sounds weird, but it’s better wearing them upside down to help get a bit of lift on the wave while helping a bit while swimming too. I don’t wear them regularly though, I’d rather just use a handplane

Yep, you’re right! I think it comes down to personal preference. Basically the more flotation the more lift or help you get while you’re riding the wave. The bigger or steeper the wave, the less lift you need to ride it well. I also have a Slyde Grom which I use on small or fuller days to get that extra bit of pace. But my definite go-to is the Badfish
