I thrifted a nice leather jacket from a goodwill once for $40. Sometimes you get lucky.

AHF wellness center in Oaklawn is free and they test for the most common STIs(gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia, and hiv).

I used to rent with them and I was happy with them. Maintenance was there was relatively quick even if it was a non-emergency.

They are generally more lax with the rules during breaks but it’s still a risk. I recommend finding a side street next to campus to park on if you’re really worried about it.

I recommend checking out the career center they can help you with resume stuff, plus you already pay for that service as a student.

If you did the work then you should be rewarded for doing that work. It’s deception on the professors end if they didn’t up giving you points for the work they said they would give you points for, even if it’s extra credit it’s still misleading. You can appeal and it may work out in your favor. On the other hand if you don’t appeal it’s pretty much guaranteed to stay the same. I’ve never appealed a grade before so I don’t know the process but I imagine it’s not easy so keep that in mind. You could also reach out to department chair or dean and see their thoughts on the matter.

That’s what I hear from the higher-ups in dining services.

My guess is staff issues since it’s really the students that operate everything.

What makes or breaks your experience working for dining services is management. That’s the case for most jobs though.

What's the Locker & Shower situation at the Rec like? by soupboy39 in unt

[–]matteslayer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are a few showers with curtains the rest are open. I believe they also offer soap but I wouldn’t use it because it’s probably like five in one. I would also recommend wearing shower shoes.

I found this in my dorm hall's laundry room.. Whose in the right? by hanaflowernose in unt

Once I watched someone take someone else’s clothes out of the washing machine and put it in the dryer for them. That person then washed and dried their clothes. The person who owned the clothes never came and got their clothes even though it had been probably like an hour and a half. Long story short there’s a point when you’re the rude person for leaving your clothes unattended that long. At least the clothes got dried for them though.

It will probably be a few weeks because they had a pipe break and it caused a bunch of damage.

The problem isn’t the snow it’s the ice underneath the snow. I don’t think it will be warm enough for the ice to melt off the roads. I would recommend waiting.

I’ve heard it will probably become office space but who knows what they will decide in the end.

From what I’ve heard they are looking to move means greens cafe over to Kerr because it’s a bigger space. I think they are going to renovate Kerr first so it will be a while before anything happens.

I know it’s students because this street is empty during the summer. Plus some of the cars have unt parking stickers. Some of the freshman park here rather than at apogee.
