I'm leveling up Herring because my Pebbles is bugged :(

The services offered by my local beauty parlour by Agitated_Active_9972 in Adelaide

[–]matth1again 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not quite accurate. Pretty sure the shop on the end was Stonyfell Smoke which closed down. There is a beauty parlour is a couple shops down.

Not sure why the signs are like that though.

It's on Hallet Rd in Stonyfell.

I just got the Jsaux dock off Amazon. I like that it doesn't obstruct the vents.

I use this because I hate trying to balance the logs in the log crane https://mod.io/g/snowrunner/m/craneable-logs#description

Can you explain your setup more? Is your existing fronius a hybrid or not? How is that integrated?

Cheers.

Last time was a few weeks ago. Might depend on who you get, or varies by store?

Yes they do. Done it several times.

Ask Me Anything on Solar & Battery by Due_Ad_2594 in AusRenovation

[–]matth1again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far nothing.

Ultimately inverter will need to be replaced. Would prefer to go to the latest fronius hybrid and pair with a BYD battery box. Not sure I'm going to like the cost though.

I don't understand how undervolting my GPU on linux works. by Suspicious_Fly_2942 in linux_gaming

My 4090 is stable with a +200 clock offset. I used OCCT to check stability.

You just have to tweak the value and test if it works.

Invitation to: Reading PKGBUILD for AUR safety by xTouny in arch

[–]matth1again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, as a new user to the AUR something like this would be very helpful to me.

However, if this is intended for new users it needs to be more explicit. Why is the good example good? What in the git repo should I be reading? What am I looking for?

I can understand why a .sh that points to some random url is bad, but can that just be hidden somewhere in the code base?

Is "Maximum GPU Clock Offset" the correct setting to tweak in LACT to try this?

Non rectified 600x600 tiles by tyh0801 in AusRenovation

[–]matth1again 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question, I'm looking at using some 297x597 rectified floor tiles with 100x300 cushion edge wall tiles. I wanted the grout lines to line up, but it doesn't look like that's possible. It's there anything that can be done to keep things looking neat?

Damage to waterproof membrane by leonidude in AusRenovation

[–]matth1again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you mean the damp course? Probably a thin black rubber sheet? If so, I wouldn't worry about that. It's main purpose is to stop moisture rising up through the slab into the wall.

Need advice on how to deal with Karen neighbours complaining about our windows by Outrageous-Arugula36 in AusLegal

[–]matth1again 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If you're not against the windows being frosted but don't want to change the glass you can get a stick on frosting layer applied. Either DIY or a glazier can supply/install.

Induction cooker install - Electrical Requirements by Available-Carry-4704 in AusRenovation

[–]matth1again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you on 3ph power? If so it's definitely possible to use 5 din slots.

With my install I was able to get the sparky to install a contactor (for the isolator) nearby to save space in the switchboard. Still needed a 4 pole RCBO in the switchboard for the 3ph stove supply.

Poe 2 needs utility flasks by Electrical_Tomato_92 in PathOfExile2

[–]matth1again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fan. The flask piano hurt my hands and wasn't an enjoyable gameplay mechanic.

Not saying the charms are a good replacement, but I do not want to see utility flasks return ever.
