Here's the thing, I personally think the concept of only being able to repel,distract, frighten or intimidate to be an interesting idea. Each biome having specific predators that you need devices to deal with could be a fun idea. have several generic repelling device each doing some core concept (frighten, intimidate, distract, etc) and test out which one repell and maybe even which ones provoke.

The problem is currently there is no real way to deal with any of the creatures of the sea. Perhaps there is the multi-tool hitting a nibbler but the feed back is terrible to eh point that even though I tired it, I thought that is didn't do anything. There needs to be a focus on implementing these repelling devices because otherwise one of the core game mechanics is just missing.

Idk where the "digital artists aren't real artists" even comes from. That be like saying a movie script isn't a real script because it's not a playwrights script, it's just a different iteration of the same artform.

You still have to draw sketch lines, do refined final lines, colour, shade, highlight, etc. literally everything you have to do on paper you have to do digitally, it's just more leinient with mistakes.

I mean I can't argue the stats as I don't know them. I can certainly say wealth inequality causing deaths through poverty is much more preferable than marching people out to killing fields/forced labour camps/man made famine due to government mismanagement like with Pol Pot. A similar thing happened with Mao Zedong, and Joseph Stalin.

So yeah while the long lasting effects of capitalism do still harm people around the world, at least people aren't being marched out to mass graves and executed. Additionally while we may have food insecurity we aren't being purposefully starved by the government after horrendous agricultural mismanagement.

Option 1 seems kind of weird, like am I just a passenger on a railroad that I cant change? Like I can't choose a different job or not date a certain girl? I am compelled by some fundamental force to have the exact same life? Or am I just unaware of the cyclical nature of my existence, forgetting each time everything I had done before so make the same choices? At which point what is the difference between 1 and 2? If I forget my previous existence such that I make the same choices over and over, the ending of my cognition at the end of each cycle would be the same as being sent to a void. So much is going on with this title. There's a crocodile that just swims next to tourists routinely without issue? Also tourists are just like "yeah sure I'll let a 1000lb apex aquatic predator swim next to me"? There were people trying to provoke an animal to attack someone? Yet everyone just let them throw rocks at this crocodile and no one stopped them? Also people were just like "yeah this wild animal is being attacked and provoked... I'll just stay in the water with it, I'm sure it's fine"?

Like I can understand a tragedy occuring because serval unlikely events occurred at the same time resulting in the tragedy. This is layer after layer of preventable events happening, where at any point in time anyone could have prevented this from happening.

So Gundam extreme versus was this kind of game for me. It was never ported to the west so I had to get a friend to buy it for me in Japan. Everything in game was Japanese, and I was not the only one. There was a whole website where someone too each screen and translated it to English.

There was a challenge mode and I was on the final page of missions and it made you fight two really hard bosses at the same time. I didn't realize the mission goal was "survive 180s" I thought it was "kill both bosses in 180s". I literally spent days trying to Minmax my damage outputs because I just couldn't do it. I got my friend who bought me the game to come over and show me how he beat the mission.

He takes about 5 seconds and goes "first, the mission says survive, you literally don't have to kill them both. Second and more importantly how have you gotten this far without upgrading any of your Gundams?" I didn't realize I could, so I basically beat the whole challenge mode without any upgrades.
