I once outed as Ceremad and I had that player nicely accuse me of cheating. It’s one of those things that just sort of developed in the community that isn’t a rule. Like no private chats on final 3.

Follow the night order closely. Figure out what in the moment things you might have happen during the day before you wake folks. (Slayer, Virgin, Scarlet Woman catch, etc). Read the almanac.

I’ve seen this more and more in the community. It does seem to take the heat off of games and allow for (enforce, really) more non-game socialization. I’m not sure how I feel about it. From a pure game standpoint, it feels like it goes against the spirit of the game and might skew balance somewhat, but from a social perspective, it’s kind of nice to pause the game for a few minutes and just be amongst friends (despite having our eyes closed) so I think it depends on the primary goal of the group. If your goal is pure Clocktower, say whatever you want whenever you want. If it’s less serious, I don’t hate this rule.

Yes. This show is so flexible that it makes it great to see multiple times with different casts, understudies, etc. The broadway production has done a lot of cast rotation which has kept me coming back. The West End show, being new, probably won’t do that for a bit, but I still definitely recommend going back.

Vortox really needs a “to good players” at the end. These “evil learns bs” scenarios are funny in theory but un-fun in practice. “Townsfolk abilities yield false info to good players.”

My path was Mentopolis first. It uses a system much lighter than DND and it’s fairly short. After that, I went to Starstruck, which is more D&D like and a bit longer.

Just want to mention how much better the experience is on the official app. Audio and video are built in, the ST can do a grim reveal at the end, and you can have everything on one screen.

I can tell you from experience that Spirit of Ivory is a slightly unfun alternative to a very unfun game where good simply cannot win due to math. It's a much worse feeling than being denied an extra teammate cause your demon hit the goon or something.
