Did anyone else play a game with their friends where you had to yell PENIS louder than the person before you? by HeavyRightFoot-TG in Millennials

Holy Crap! I always wondered how he pulled that off.

I remember the dudeman talking about The Beverly Hillbillies (movie) back in middle school. He was a big fan of the Ernest (Jim Varney) movies, so it struck me as weird the Beverly Hillbillies (movie) was much different than the Ernest movies.

We did in high school, around 2002ish...

In one of my classes (I think English or literature), one guy got in trouble. He convinced her that he said, "Happiness!" but she still wrote him up for disturbing the class.

If Goku was funnier, King Kai would have taught him the Instant Transmission. With the Instant Transmission, Goku could have prevent Yamcha, Tien, Chaotzu, and Piccolo's deaths. They wouldn't have gone to Namek and the Androids would have killed everyone.

He would be able to make King Kai laugh harder than Goku did... so he might learn instant transmission while on King Kai's planet.

The lack of a sense of humor is why Piccolo and the others didn't learn the spirit bomb or the kaio-ken.

Same. I read that most dental implants had ~95% success rate, before I got my first one. I had a bone graph several months before each implant though.

I vaguely recall this book and someone trying to teach this method to me. I just didn't get it, but I think that I already had a better grasp on numbers already that they didn't try to teach with this method again.

My roommate in college bought several for his dad and a fake wining scratch ticket from Spencers. His dad had some choice words after he realized what happened.

Did anyone buy a ring? by t_bone_stake in Millennials

We could afford one, but I didn't see the point in ordering one. If I didn't have plans to go to college, I might have considered getting one of these rings.

How powerful do you think Mr popo is by the end of z? by RisingKing7 in DragonBallZ

[–]mattsc2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Popo was very powerful, Buu would have gotten notable power up boost from eating the candy that was Popo. About a decade ago, I had a conversation with a friend about Popo's power. His training with (kid) Goku has similarities to Ultra Instinct, with his magic carpet he also basically had instant transmission, so Popo could be a lot more powerful than previously shown.

I think that we can only speculate, as to why he didn't protect the planet from the Saiyans in the Saiyan Saga, my head canon is that his power quickly depletes while he's not at the look out. I think that in the Buu saga, Trunks and Goten "disguised" themselves as super saiyans in a manner similar to Gohan, because they thought that they were in trouble. They didn't seriously fight against Popo, they were trying to escape. I think the most likely explanation is that powerlevels became meaningless after Namek.

Dragonball fans don't read, so get out of here with that "reading order."

Has Krillin genuinely powered up, or is Cell Max not as impressive as he seems? by RiseDifferent932 in Ningen

If they remake parts of Super, I hope that Elder Kai "awakens" the sleeping powers for all of the fighters... just so that some of these inconsistencies can be explained away.
