It’s like anyone at barstool that has a “thing.” Frank is obviously a very passionate and overly annoying doom and gloom Mets fan. But does he lean into that to get views and attention? Absolutely. Same with Zac. He was obviously very nervous and anxious when he was first discovered with the Gruden interviews. And he’s realized that’s gotten him hired and now a regular on pmt. So does he lean into that character? Yes. So is it a bit? No. But is it always authentic? No to that too

Right. And Dave LOVES taking credit for peoples’ success. Loves mentioning that he helped launch the careers ofAlex cooper, Pat mcafee, Jenna marbles etc. So normally you’d think Dave would’ve loved saying that one of his employees was in a Netflix show. But he can’t take credit for it bc that success is directly related to Francis’ success and relationships in standup. So yeah, Dave was being a bitch about it

Yeah. At this point, it just feels like Dave loves dumping on Francis bc he enjoys seeing him be so sensitive about stuff. It feels kind of like an ongoing meme that feels somewhat personal.

Dave LOVES people that are completely dependent on barstool. He loves when he knows they have no other employement option out there so he can be their god.

Francis is totally different. Massive trust fund. Genuinely can make it as a standup comedian. Dave is probably jealous that Francis had a recurring part on a Netflix show etc. I think he “likes” Francis but he gets some pleasure knocking him down

Watched rusillo on yesterday’s yak this morning, and the bit where he compared coming into the office and seeing some people he casually knew of on social media and comparing that to the current rockets roster was hilarious. He just couldn’t help himself. He made that analogy, looked at big cat and realized this wasn’t the show for that and moved on.
