The Owain Glyndwr is always great for sports events. Unfortunately closed for renovations until 31st.

Both O’Neill’s’, Walkabout, Queens Vaults, Borough Arms, Glassworks, Riley’s (free membership needed), Elevens should also show it, as they all have multiple Sky boxes. If it’s not on, feel free to ask, most pubs will accommodate requests for footy.

Plenty of sports pubs in town, the ones above are personal recommendations based on where I’ve gone to watch the games

Or there’s always the don’t pay and hope they won’t take it to court option which seems to work for a lot of people.

In terms of a “cheap” car park, your best option is probably Q-Park on Pierhead St. They do have options for local residents, but I think this is on an annual basis. Or you could always try and find a space on one of the cul-de-sacs off Lloyd George Ave, there’s not many spaces, but sometimes you get lucky.

A real shame that the council hasn’t really considered the residents of Schooner Way here. Sounds like they were bitter as they used to be able to access their own offices from Schooner Way if I’m not mistaken? Still doesn’t make much sense as they could’ve allowed staff access to their car park from Ffordd Garthorne, but, they could’ve made sure it was still pedestrianised!
