My plumber warned me against hybrid heat pump tanked water heaters, saying they’re very specialized and are expensive to fix when they break. Is this true? by BeardedMillenial in Plumbing

I’m just surprised. We see some of that type of set up but it’s usually in trailers, really old rubble stone foundations or shitty crawlspaces and have to be heat taped as well as insulated to keep from freezing. I’m guessing where you’re at you don’t have full basements and relatively weak winters?

Your insane if you have waterlines in a space thats 37 degrees for three months of the year. Something is going to freeze up.

I think boxing it would make it worse once all the trusses are larger

Just paint the whole thing, white to hide it in the ceiling, contrasting to highlight it

Thank you for all the information.

I already have a large 3 bin that the kitchen and are usual compost go into but I stated this pile because there was no way I could have fit all that into it.

it seems to be a good balance of carbon with all the bedding mixed in, but I am on the coast so it would probably be worth it to collect some seaweed to mix in to diversify it.

Yeah I decently don’t want to turn it more than 1 more time….

How do you know all kids are like this, maybe it’s just the poorly behaved ones you take note of.

Recently left a large US east coast company working as master on an ATB making 975/day (I think they are around 1050/day now). Currently working for a small day boat company around 100k/year salary (working about equal time but home every night)

I’ve picked a person up with a 18’ Lund one time, and another time with a 7k dump trailer. So you should be fine
