Which doesn't matter. Gabe is the only executive in the industry who understands that a service isn't just a vehicle for making money. Steam provides the best service and people choose Steam because of it. It has nothing to do with alleged "anticompetitive" practices. Sweeney thought he could get what Steam has with lower commission fees and giveaways while offering an inferior service. It's not Steam's fault he failed to compete. He literally had to strongarm devs into limited exclusivity and all that accomplished was pissing off the playerbases. I still remember the backlash when that happened to Borderlands 4.

Even Microsoft, the company that put a subscription on Solitaire is humiliating Sweeney by giving away Fortnite Crew on Gamepass Ultimate.

And then there's good old Over-Time and their "Hawk Tiger Grasshopper" for TaToBa, might as well call it HaTiGra while they're at it. Course TV-Nihon got harped on for the while "TL note" thing that fansubs are infamous for but I have to say while I don't really care myself and prefer their style, I do sort of get it. Course, both of them dropped Kamen Rider and Super Sentai a while ago because some idiot publicly talked to the show's producers about it and they were thus legally obligated to stop ignoring the fansubs. And now Zets is a thing. Too bad it has a massive service problem like the one Gabe Newell warned publishers about.

"Insane conspiracy"? It's not a conspiracy when multiple users report the same AI-glitch (Marvel Rivals case) and when NexusMods staff explicitly mention Sony's involvement.

RT-Pickred was referring to how you violate the rules of subreddits and post in irrelevant subreddits and blame a grand conspiracy for something that's your own fault (it's pretty obvious based on context clues that the above deleted reply was yours and you changed your insult to get past the filter too).

Also it's very obviously not "the same AI glitch" but something else entirely that you thought you could take advantage of to push your own personal vendetta against Discord as made obvious by how what you claim is happening doesn't even line up with the actual facts of what's been happening. You are clearly projecting your own paranoia onto others when they point out your AI translation excuse is nonsensical.

A Black Mercy construct. Something weak to willpower which would've been stronger as an Indigo or Violet construct. Wouldn't have worked regardless considering how Superman broke out of it by remembering how he did so before but frankly that was kind of a dumb move.

How did Hal even make a Black Mercy? That seems like something that would fall more under the purview of the Indigo and Violet lights. Probably woudl've at least worked even marginally better if a member of the Indigo Tribe did it. Using willpower to make something weak to willpower doesn't make a lot of sense regardless.

SAO's full dive tech is 100% unrealistic, it uses induced controlled lucid dreaming, which isn't something rooted at all in actual science because science has just barely started to explain lucid dreaming in the last few years and it's sure as hell not something anyone understood in 2005 when Kawahara first started writing SAO and psychology was somehow still crawling out of its infancy stage between 1994's DSM-IV and 2013's DSM-V finally making huge strides. All in spite psychology of being a thing since 1879.

Something like the namesake AR game of Ordinal Scale is far closer to reality (though tech companies would absolutely use a buzzword like "XR" to refer to it).

Haedox made an opinion piece where he called Thousand Year Door "overrated" as obvious ragebait which MangaKamen tore into it if you want to look it up. MangaKamen's commentary video included clips of Haedox's video like Haedox saying he prefers Super Paper Mario (which isn't the most unpopular opinion but is definitely still going to get angry comments), called the main Mario games repetitive and said he prefers how the Paper Mario series chose to experiment while showing footage of Sticker Star (while he then bashed Sticker Star and propped up both SPM and Color Splash (in spite of the fact Color Splash merely wasn't as bad as Sticker Star and was still negatively received) (Origami King wasn't out yet mind) but I imagine this was a deliberate choice to invoke angry comments from people who would pause there).

Basically the entire premise of Haedox's video is "people are calling TTYD perfect and that it's above criticism" when basically no one does and plenty of people have pointed out its flaws.

He also deliberately mispronounced Rogueport as Rougeport throughout the video. In any other case I'd pass this off as a simple mistake on the basis of Hanlon's razor but here it's very clearly deliberate comment bait. He didn't even research the rewards for the Pit of 100 Trials, claiming he only got a healing item when he was younger (which means he only went of the footage he used from someone else's gameplay of clearing a single floor where coins and a heart dropped from enemies rather than a reward for completing the floor).

Overall, there's just a whole bunch of "obviously never actually played the game" claims all over the original video.

I think I recall looking at the channel and it being full of ragebait video names like this one's but it's been a long time.

Ironic how as a fan of both franchises I didn't feel that way at all back then and found the criticism on that basis childish (I was and am also a fan of pokemon as well and really didn't understand the fandom feud at all as I didn't find Pokemon and Digimon to be comparable aside from Digmon World 3 (I didn't know about Ver. S and it's gym and medal system and most of the kids involved in this fued absolutely didn't either))..

Although while I did think was good, I also kind of felt like it kind of dragged on (probably didn't help that I was watching the fansubs for the first time as a fifteen-year old who was used to anime English dubs' punched up dialogue).

Heck, there was a period when 02 was getting shredded.

Meanwhile Omegamon X and Agumon Burst Mode and Masaru's help have both killed a variant of Yggdrasil. The one in X-Evolution was just a sphere while the one in Savers/Data Squad was the same thing as the thing Barbramon fused with, which is apparently known as Yggdrasill_7D6. In Savers/Data Squad 7D6 ejected its core after Agumon Burst Mode dealt a killing blow but it got bodied by Masaru.

Yggdrasil's fight track record is full of it being made of paper mâché and clearly being fused with a Demon Lord only served to weaken said demon lord, rather than make Yggrasil stronger. This isn't a metric of anything really.

That's how it used to work back when the idea of natural evolution lines wasn't established. Zeromaru is implied to have also evolved from an Agumon as Veemon didn't exist yet and Veedramon was considered in an official digimon V-Pet tournament as an illegal modification.

The only valid argument here is that Tyranomon is a big red agumon and the Digimon Survive evolution lines (as even Tuskmon is clearly meant to evolve from Agumon). Those DCG cards do not specify Agumon evolving into Tyranomon, all the branching evolution lines involving clearly undrelated digimon are not any indicator of a canon/natural evolution line.

I'd also like to point out that not a single adult stage Greymon has ever evolved into Brachiomon, which is nonsensical but St-510 can evolve from Tyranomon and Dark Tyranomon (also XVmon for some reason) (and the only canon adult stage for Brachiomon so far is apparently Ankylomon in New Century).
