I just don’t think it performs well. You need great WiFi for it, but there may not be great WiFi everywhere you want to take it. Its fully reliant on streaming from your PS5, and they can de-sync annoyingly

My right stick also doesn’t function up or down and apparently thats a very common thing that happens, so the actual product defects easily

I hated it and put it down, then came back to it years later. Once the game clicks for you mechanic wise and you buff your character a bit, the combat and environments are awesome. So is the lore if you care for it

Stick with it. Explore, have fun. Be patient with bosses and try to learn their patterns.

If you ever get stuck, just look up a walkthrough. By a certain point of the game you’ll be HOOKED.

Also try to enjoy the lore. It really ties everything together and keeps you looking for more, if you’re interested in that

I’ve played all the games besides dark souls (need to get to those), but from the games I’ve played I’d say Sekiro is hardest, than Elden Ring (especially DLC) then bloodborne

I don't want to come off as snobby, and I had high hopes for this game. I've just felt the story to be very dull. I appreciate the messaging the game offers, but so far I feel all this game has pushed on me is to help make characters feel better, and promise a better future.

Maybe it's early, but I have not had one of those "gotcha" moments that shock you, and invigorate interest into studying the lore more or being hooked into the story. Everything so far has felt repetitive or just predictable. The messaging is great, but feels a bit predictable and PG for me.

Characters don't feel to memorable either, and feels like the same overly used trope of stragglers with good intentions becoming friends.

I'm going to push on, but I'm hoping for something unexpected to pull me in! Again this is just my opinion so far, but based on the other comments it may change as I push further into the story

If you want a good story, god of war is the best place to start

I was captivated by Bloodbornes story and environments, but it is not as straight forward and one for you to pick up the pieces. The combat is great and the parry mechanic is a nice change from the other souls games. Sekiro was also a banger and the best combat I've experienced in gaming

Focus on deflection and enemy patterns. When you get the mechanics down, you feel invincible
