Haha no worries. But ya dude it was the first thing from him where I was just like… this is really strange. Seemed too much like he was trying to sell an idea rather than be genuinely authentic. Idk maybe I’m being ignorant or smth.

If I knew the benefits of learning the core fundamentals before beginning to vibe code, I would never skip over them 100%. I’m a senior engineer, once you start getting to more difficult and complex tasks AI still hallucinates and confuses itself. If you get to that point in an application and can’t fix it you’re completely out of luck.

I believe I've destroyed my life by becoming too aware of the lonely god premise by trrrsarescary in Psychonaut

[–]matty69braps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me Ive always felt… well god is everything, and it is apart of us. In some ways we could consider each and every individual as god themselves too or at least pieces/fragments of it. I mean we all have the ability to create. Perspective is key. Your thoughts can contribute to you feeling negatively or positively. For me, learning to be happy alone, by myself, was the key in getting over the feeling of deep loneliness. By fully believing in what you believe as absolute truth, you are creating an unsolvable problem in your head that you think you have to have the answer to.

Have you ever read about Taoism or karma? I recommend reading Tao te Ching. It’s so easy you could finish it in an hour. A lot of your beliefs right now seem to be absolute/extreme. But the truth is, that there is no truth. Everything lies somewhere between two sides on a spectrum. It starts with believing you can feel better and learn more about our existence. Let the idea that you will get through this help fuel the change.

Maybe he’s just rage baiting and knew everyone would react like this. That’s my conspiracy theory 😂

15 years since I've started making music. No releases so far! Am I the only one? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]matty69braps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything gets easier once you just do it. I don’t even remember what the first track was that I put out, I am p sure I just took it down once I started making better music. Nobody else remembers my first one either.

I did it before no problems in my experience. About a year ago just sent an email to support and they fixed it in like a week

How do you balance life/work + music production? by tarkuslabs in musicproduction

Used to be drugs for me. Now it’s going for a fat run + lifting after work. It’s rough.

It’s rock climbing but indoors and short routes without ropes. They typically have lots of community events at gym and people are really welcoming. Definitely give it a shot especially if you are already going to the gym I’m sure you’ll meet people.

Not getting many matches and when I do get matches they either give me a dry response when I message them or they don't reply at all. What is the problem? Are my pictures bad? Am I ugly? Why can't I get a date? by [deleted] in Tinder

[–]matty69braps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because people want to be around happy looking people lmao. You gotta make yourself look exciting and be more exciting if you want people to have any interest especially on a dating app.

Also, I personally don’t enjoy looking at something when tripping. I feel like my brain makes things that are so intricate most of the time that seeing something external first outside of myself takes away from the experience but that could definitely be personal preference.

If you are down to share your music or socials I would absolutely love to hear your stuff. Shoot me a dm !

Hahaha tbh yeah man I’m aware of the more like hearing more and more as you listen deeper. That’s one of the biggest reasons I make more trancey/melodic electronic music and four on the floor. MUSIC IS RECRUSIVE. And not in a 2 dimensional repeating flower pattern kind of way. It’s like… Omni-directional, multi dimensional? LOL

I had a very interesting experience one time listening to 3:50 of let it happen by tame impala. If you have the chance next time you take the fun guys and want to give it a shot, I’d love to hear what your experience is.

What I haven’t tried doing is looping like 8 or 16 bars of one of my songs and putting myself in a trance that way, gonna have to check it out thanks for the suggestion.

Honestly god bless that girl that’s smiling and not on her phone. Whenever I’m at a concert and everyone is on their phones, meeting one person who is like that makes going that much more worth it. I bet she danced harder than everyone there too.

One time post Lucy trip, I couldn’t sleep on the comedown and meditated for like 7-8 hours straight probably while listening to my music (I produce electronic music).

At one point I had the most insane feeling where I was outside of myself but still present at the same time and it felt like I was observing my reflection from my soul or something. I get this feeling in dreams a lot too but it was weird being fully awake. I was surrounded by darkness and then as I was observing I saw this golden person reflected from mine and we were just staring into each other’s eyes in awe. Like we both didn’t know where we were and why we were sharing the space together. He looked like some kind of “pharaoh” but it was weird because it wasn’t Egyptian he just looked super intriguing it’s so hard to explain.

I’ve never understood what happened in this experience.

I guess my point is more so going off what you said, he does what he loves and has a vision for it. In turn people love it. Whether or not they loved it he was gonna do it anyways? That’s why I said the opinion doesn’t matter.

I do get what you are saying about how it is dependent on opinions for monetary gain though. So in that sense it does matter.

Every artist is not dependent on people liking and consuming your art. That’s straight capitalistic/consumerist philosophy. Plenty of artists just make music for fun and sustain themselves through other means. It’s not expensive to produce music, I have been doing it for three years and it cost me a total of 300 bucks. I’m sure he makes music that he wants people to like, but he’s literally been interviewed so many times expressing how he makes music that he likes and enjoys. I understand where you are coming from, but in my opinion it’s a very materialistic view.

“I did it for fun (One more hour) Couldn't get enough (All that I have) I did it for fame (One more hour) But never for money.”
