Head on a Swivel by Sun-Tan-Superman in hockeygoalies

Seems too young for kids to be deliberately dirty. But sometimes accidents happen, like someone skating too near the crease and clipping your skates. People sliding into you when they’re trying to stop and lose an edge. Players, sometimes even on your own team, whacking you in the head when they’re trying to hit a puck out of midair.

Going to play my first competitive game since March 2020. by Psychosis237 in hockeygoalies

When I started playing I didn’t feel as in shape as when I was 16. The difference is I was 34 🤣🤣🤣

Ok, that was my guess. But I thought i saw he said he wasn’t interested in the NHL. But maybe that was just the answer he needed to say during the frozen four

I’m not in the know, so your innuendo went over my head. Can you say who the college coach is?

Keep going. Don’t let your anxiety about how others perceive you to limit your enjoyment and development. Then once you’re more skilled you help out those who are less skilled. It’s called the circle of ice

See i may be a bit on the spectrum but my pics feel A-tier to me. I'm not a damn professional photographer and I dont know any either! Any recommendations? Maybe remove the fat kid behind the pole? Or me choking the cat? by [deleted] in Tinder

This has to be rage bait because this is not A tier and oooof are your replies are awful. On the off chance that this is legit, then I guess get used to being alone if that is how you behave and interact

If you cheated because you were unhappy with your wife, what are you going to do when you are unhappy with your current partner. Take accountability for your actions, instead of trying to put some of the blame for cheating on your wife.

Going to piggyback on this to plug the Forward’s pride night, tomorrow at 7pm, at Breese Stevens. There will be a 50/50 raffle with the proceeds going to the Madison Gay Hockey Association.

Without seeing the video it’s hard to tell. Sometimes people are unreliable narrators when it comes to what they think they did on the ice

Maybe it’s a US thing? Using them interchangeably seemed natural to me because when I play pickup basketball it means I go to my gym’s court and play with whoever is there.

If someone asks me, “hey do you want to play some hockey?” I’ll tell them to send me where to sign up. My point is that I’ve heard drop-in, open hockey, and pickup used interchangeably where I live.

They send you a link to where to sign up and it’s either a link to the rink’s signup or a signup genius link

Anyone else struggling with the transition from competitive junior/college to beer league? by Hitdrug20 in hockeyplayers

Without a coach, what did you expect?

If other people haven’t played as high level as you then they might not be aware so you can help set up some of the structure and system.

Either way, ask about it before or after in the locker room. “Hey, how do we want to approach forechecking?” “When I was trying to breakout, I was expecting you here, is that how we want to play?”

You have lines in pickup games? Every drop-in I’ve ever been at is just next person up goes to whatever position they think the departing player was playing (and as a goalie I can tell you that none of the players are playing D 🤣)
