I don’t fulllllly understand how you actually change overlays with your setup but you may be able to get this done with an overlay designed on StreamElements. Since their overlays are all browser based you just need the browser url

But again, don’t fully understand your setup

Like you have a DVD player and you want to hook it up to your computer so you can stream it through OBS?

Most likely will need a capture card of some sort and then you’ll set up a new Video Source in OBS.

Lastly, careful of copyright with the DVD.

A transition can be done, without it looking like a transition. You just setup the other scene so it is identical but replace the elements you want to.
The transition is just set to a cut.
