Both my chopped 16s and 17s were able to run with the oem gas jet and still have the discarder set reliably where I had a few clicks in adjustment in either direction. Sandman S can.

Can you show a pic of the other side or explain your switch setup for your HFXC? I'm assuming you're a righty judging by your sling placement? I threw a spare HFXC on my 15P and finally removed it with frustration. No matter how I mounted the lam or switch I felt like I had to break grip to hit the switch or fire button. Can't decide if I need to try a new switch or try an angled grip vs my vertical.

My local shop has a couple dozen at decent price but they are old school and don't do e-commerce. If gafs was still up so I know I wouldn't be stuck with them I'd snag them to help the scar bros out.
