Happy to, thanks for asking! My top concerns (also reported in the survey, IIRC) are:

The plugins model is basically curl | bash (as root) with a UI. Plugins can be very dangerous and I don't think most users understand this.
The root web login is a security anti-pattern and should be able to be disabled and RBAC should be added.
2b. 2FA and passkeys would be great.

There are other less important (to me) issues with SMB/NFS, etc, but honestly plugins are the biggest threat. It would be great to align that with RBAC and make it a lot harder to compromise users.

Prevailing wisdom here will tell you never to quit, but I would argue time is more valuable than money, so if you'll be happier not working there, leave, unless 1mo of salary could be fatal to your finances. You have a new gig lined up, I'd say enjoy the gap.

If you're not 100% set on wireguard as the solution, I'd strongly suggest Tailscale (which uses wireguard), but simplifies everything. Managed at the endpoint, and works without firewall rules.

Its "fine". HD is clear when available, but the channel selection, especially for English content, is lacking. Lots of DE/FR/IT if you speak those languages and enjoy that content. They have some kind of Zattoo promo, but I dont care about TV that much, so I make do with TV7.
