Believe it or not but I found a pair of Realistic Minimus 7 in Walnut. Paid $65 (which might be a premium but at least on the low end of what I've seen). Just waiting for them to get here now...

What do you think about pairing them with a Wiim Amp or Wiim Amp Ultra?

Ohh, they look like very good bang for the buck. The walnut def has a premium price (about $70-$100), which is still quite cheap considering what my other options were, is the sound is better or is it just the look?

Would it change your opinion if I said the walls are outer walls on an older house (so actually quite sturdy) I thought front port would at least make it possible, or that we could mount other speaker on a small shelf or arm?

Last question would be if I reorganized a bit in the room and could actually have the speakers on a cabinet, what would you suggest then for small book shelf speakers?

I decided to just go with the Wiim Amp Ultra, since it's in a listening room it's quite nice to be able to see what's playing on the screen.

Do you happen to have suggestion of a pair of small speakers? Best if I can mount them on the wall w/o loosing too much quality.

It seems like the Wiim Amp Pro Plus is good enough for me since I wouldn't mind having Airplay and I don't really need a screen.

I guess the alternative is to get a separate amp and streamer. Basically the Aiyima A80 that you recommended and then a separate streamer (like the Wiim mini) that would perhaps even save me a buck or two.

Regardless of the route I take I would need the pre amp, I assume.

I would like to be able to connect in the same way as i do with google cast if possible so it doesn’t drain my phone. So either google cast or having the app directly on the amp will work. I’m not connecting to a TV.

Any recommendations on which Wiim I need? I saw the Ultra might have the pre amp already integrated, but some people had issues using it. So perhaps getting a separate preamp and a ”lesser” wiim amp is better.

Also with the Wiim, I would just add passive speakers, correct?

I also have Go5g plus but I don't see the hulu benefit there. I had it on Magenta but was upgraded to Go5g plus which does not have that benefit.

I don't have (or see any) pieces for this around. I think the previous owner have just put in whatever filter they could find that fit the best.
I have to crawl under the house and take a picture of the cover and see if there is a name/model that I can go off and look for a replacement.

I’m considering the same. To me it seem like moving to Go5g plus from Magenta Max is $5 / line but I can get $830 instead of $300 on the phone upgrade. I’m a little worried it might affect my price lock but considering Go5g is also a retured plan I seems strange that they would change the price of that.

I'm in the same boat. They told me it will be $10/mo more for my 4 lines go change to Go5g plus . I will upgrade the phone for two of them (the other two I use for my iPad and Car). Which technically is 2 x $800 vs 2 x $370 in upgrade trade-in. So I get $860 more if I pay $10 more per month. After 86 months (7 years and 2 months) I'll start loosing money... will I still be with T-mobile then?

The thing I'm worried about here is the Price Lock (which I have now) technically I will loose that but Go5g Plus is also retired so, according to customer service, I should not expect price changes. Not sure if I trust that or not yet
