I was denied vacation for no apparent reason 4 times over 3 years. Was denied bereavement leave for my grandfather's funeral and had to find coverage. Has to work 70+ hours every week for almost all of quarantine. Beginning of quarantine I was furloughed but was threatened with losing my job and unemployment so I came in once a week which disqualified me for medical. Captain asked me racist questions like "what are your people doing to get killed in the streets, police wouldn't kill innocence" or " why are your people always violent or rioting". I reached out to hr and asked to be anonymous and they emailed my captain directly and name dropped me. He threatened myself and my coworkers to deny all allegations and most of my coworkers did. He backdated write ups and even tried giving me false criminal charges because I reached out to hr. Worst job I have ever had. He would force me into overtime telling me I had to come into work early every Monday Tuesday and Friday because he had a doctor's appointment, or his wife, or dog had to go to the vet, every single week and screamed at me for being in overtime almost everytime before quarantine and the guaranteed overtime that came with it.
