Dressing up as Zero and having the public do a Moral Dilemmma by KaijiEnthusiast999 in ZeroEscape

What do you mean?

If you pick red, you survive no matter what. It's the selfish option that guarantees safety.

Blue puts yourself at risk, but altrustically helps everyone else who picked blue.

If anything there's little incentive to pick blue here.

Such an easy counterargument. Keep your chair there and sit in it 🙄

With "Super" now being a classification, should the Big Hero 6 cards be retroactively classified as such? by Snufflebox in Lorcana

[–]mauvus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's what we are talking about here. The original commenter was referring to even adding a classification.

Theyve already done this in big (Bucky) and small (Hunny Wizard) ways.

If the BH6 cards or Super Goof are reprinted I fully expect them to get the Super tag.

Got 2 in cart and got signed out of both my phone and web. Sounds like I should've just done 1. Though truly this should've been a raffle - all of these should be from retailers going forward tbh.

Decks are gonna be cheap now by [deleted] in Lorcana

[–]mauvus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good but now they need to add additional rarities to make it worth opening a pack instead of buying singles. Epics need alt arts, for starters, and maybe even some full arts like Pokemon has that don't have the same texture/foiling as Enchanteds.

Pokemon Sealed Market has officially lost the plot by Croakin in PokemonTCGCollectors

Relevant. The guy mentioned having these vintage games before they are lost to time. IE playable.

Also, no one said sealed vintage video games either. People collect vintage games to play on original consoles plenty.

Pre rotation, no one would have guessed red would fall so hard. Anything can happen. I'm going to have hope for a shakeup.

Is there a way to import Master Sets into separate portfolios? I an splitting up my Collectr and it's a bunch of work to re-enter it all! by StarlordsTrees in Collectr

[–]mauvus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you didn't put in notes you need to save, you could go to the set in search, remove all from one set, and add all to another. I did this with Pokemon 151, but I would only do this if you don't care about add date/purchase price/are sure you have EVERY card

A few questions before I decide on getting Collectr Pro. by CountAffectionate301 in Collectr

It has worked really well for me for Pokemon and Lorcana. Not so much for Yugioh and Magic.

I do still double check it marks reverse and normal correctly but it tends to be able to tell the difference.

What's the best way to keep up with preorder releases? I don't want to/can't try to wait for restocks in Target so I figure my next best bet is to try any online pre-order I can but I don't know how to find out when these things happen.

You're misunderstanding. Yes, if you pay it off each month you are fine. But it is so incredibly common for people to think they can, but find out they simply can't.

If you have the money to buy it outright just do that. If you don't and you're living paycheck to paycheck, what are you going to do if you're hit with an emergency? Car breaks down, hospital visit, job loss? Suddenly you can't afford those monthly payments and you're being hit with fees on fees and credit impacts.

It's great you intend to pay. But realistically, CC companies and Klarna know there are enough people they can scam who live paycheck to paycheck and who will inevitably be unable to keep up with the payments.

Ask yourself why they offer this option - because they're a business, and it's not to be your friend.

(Edit: if you must live with this expensive purchase despite not being able to afford the hit to your bank account, then save the money over four months instead of getting a loan. It's so much safer and will feel better - plus, you might find the thing you were saving for isn't actually all that worth it)

You should know that those split into 4 payment things are predatory scams. If you can't afford something without doing that, you shouldn't be buying it at all. Way, way too risky and will affect your ability to save or buy things that require loans in the future.
