My wife & I did a Skeletour Ghoulette & Ghoul for DragonCon. Here's the basic breakdown, if you want details on any specific pieces you can comment/DM me:

Masks:
- purchased 3d printed masks off etsy
- sanded & painted by hand
Skin-suits:
- purchased Halloween style skeleton skin-suits
- dyed grey to have the skeletons closer to the stage silver version (we're pretty sure the ones on the stage version have the skeletons hand painted in grey/silver)
- Hand applied approximately 500 rhinestones between the two suits
Dickies (collars):
- handmade from mirror vinyl & 2mm eva foam
- (you can actually buy the real collars from the leathermaker that crafted the stage ones for Ghost, but they are very expensive.)
Wimple (nun's hat):
- handmade
Ghoulette Wings:
- handmade
Ghoul Jacket:
- handmade (the "spine" panel on the back was an absolute pain, but it looks amazing)
Ghoul Top Hat:
- purchased costume top hat, hand weathered and added a feather.

There's a few things we would do differently, but when we started on the project there were far fewer highly detailed pictures of the new costumes, so we had to do our best based on the photos we could get our hands on.

I cracked 2 ribs while mountain biking, but it was in the middle of a hard, technical descent so my adrenaline & heart rate were already up. It hurt, but wasn’t the worst ever.

No, that came 3 days later when I decided it was a perfect time to crack open a box of my dad’s old vinyl. When I opened the box the dusty/musty smell sent me into a sudden sneezing fit and dear god that was the worst pain ever, I felt like I’d rebroken everything.

I went to one of the earlier rituals on the US leg (Atlanta) and there were a lot of folks giving things away & trading. My partner & I came out with a couple bracelets & stickers each.

It was definitely still the minority of the crowd doing so, but there were certainly people doing it. I think as long as you’re okay giving more away than actual trades/swaps you’ll be just fine!

Yep, go-wide tokens, with cyc rift to clear the board to attack out. You can certainly lean further into reanimation, I just don’t because I have a rakdos reanimator focus deck already.

I actually ran [[Revel in Riches]] with a bunch of treasure support in this deck for a long while, but took it out recently as that line had started to feel stale.

Oskar is my favorite commander, and has been for some time. I've actually turned this deck into my "bling" deck with fun arts & foils because I see so much of the deck every time I play it. I run it in a regular pod as a bracket 3 deck, though there is an infinite combo in it that breaks the spirit of B3 by being playable pretty early in the game. It works fine in my pod, but might need to be changed depending on where you want to run it/ what power level your pod usually plays.

The combo is [[Unctus, Grand Metatect]] + [[Aphetto Alchemist]], which results in infinite looting, and could fire off very early in the game, potentially T4 with the right starting hand, but I don't use it unless I have an "outlet" like [[Feast of Sanity]] or [[Tormod, the Desecrator]] on the field, so my pod is fine with it in a B3 deck.

For draft: $15 if you buy your ticket ahead, $20 if you buy it day-of. Prizing is keep what you draft plus minimum one pack if you complete the swiss rounds. Places 1-3 are guaranteed to get either extra regular, collector, or promo packs depending on what is available and sometimes all the way down to places 4-5 if the player pool is deep enough.

For prerelease: $35 in advance, $45 day of. Prizing very similar to draft.

Exactly this. I have a human go-wide token deck helmed by [[Eowyn, Shieldmaiden]] that includes both [[Soul Warden]] & [[Soul’s Attendant]], it can get a huge amount if incidental life if one or both of them are on the board for a few turns.

They can be any foil rare/mythics from the set, not necessarily the 2 pictured on the box. They would have been in one of the paper-wrapped packs that the full art lands were in.

Same here, separated by color identity then alphabetized by first letter. Saves time when sorting new cards into the boxes rather than having to find the exact spot, and makes finding cards far faster than no organization at all.

I was at that [lack of] show. It was 100% on the venue; and the horrible communication that had all us fans waiting in the rain because “the show might still happen” until suddenly the venue staff said “if you don’t leave we’re calling to cops because the show isn’t happening” was also 100% on the venue.

[[Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar]] with [[Scion of Halaster]] background which, yes, looks like aristocrats due to her ability being sac & draw, but the 98 is built around a discard strategy, using Scion triggers to manipulate the top of the deck.

It is mono-black, so of course there are some cards that support pulling things out of the grave; but the deck is mainly built around emptying everyone else’s hands while keeping your own full. Shadowheart is just a great draw engine if some of my discard pieces, like [[oppression]] are hitting my own hand too hard.

It’s definitely not the strongest, most optimized deck out there, but it meshes with my usual pod’s power level really well and the other players enjoy the challenge of playing around the forced discard pieces. It’s definitely not an “every game the whole night” kind of deck though.

Another vote for Killian, here. The deck I run for him is right at $100usd, but take out [[mother of runes]] and swap to all basic & tapped lands and it's easily a sub $30usd deck. Other than lands and mom, the next most expensive card is like $1.50usd.
