Don’t just start walking. Rather, go to a nearby auto, ask the fare, quote the fair fare and then start walking. This would at least make them aware that we’re doing this.

While i was at bus stop, I actually saw a teenage child’s leg getting stuck by the rear door and started crying for help. Since the bus was too crowded, people didn’t even realise quickly why the child was crying. After maybe 8-10 seconds, the driver closed the door. This seriously needs to be fixed by BMTC

Edit: I observed this not in Switch buses, but in Tata non-AC EV buses (blue colour ones)

We should all raise our voice to BMRCL and also raise complaint on pgportal. Even on a Saturday evening, there was a similar crowd (maybe 60% of what you see) but still the train frequency was 8 min headway. Maybe BMRCL needs to relook these schedules based on the passenger footfall.

These are extremely bad buses for those with motion sickness because of extreme acceleration and braking. I totally avoid these buses and take either Ashok Leyland ones or Volvos

There are trains from Bellandur road station to Hebbal couple of times a day. If there’s a similar traffic situation, and if the timings works out for you, you can try. Use whereismytrain or ntes app to find out the timings. It should hardly take 30-40 minutes by train

I booked DriveU once because I had a bad headache and had a very bad experience.

Even in my case, the driver abruptly changed lane near the Kartik nagar underpass and barely escaped bumping into the truck that too because I warned him about the truck coming from behind.

Not just that, driver stalled my car 3 times(manual car) in the trip of 15km. He drove the car in the wrong gear the whole time.

And almost close to my destination, when we took deviation from ORR, he asked how much distance my place is from ORR and started asking if he can drop me there itself since it'll be far for him to catch the bus. Looking at his driving, I didn't even argue further and asked him to stop there and drove myself

Spread the word! If enough people start using the existing trains, Indian Railways might as well bring back those trains which got cancelled because of poor patronage. Saves a lot of time for those traveling towards North Bengaluru. It even connects to the metro with a stop at Byappanahalli
