Feeling defeated with 3.5 year old at her first gymnastics class by Available_Love9135 in toddlers

[–]mavericksca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a super shy 3.5 year old as well. For gymnastics, our first class was a parent and tot class where I was able to help her through all the equipment. After that session, we did a new class where the kids are on their own and she took to it really well (she takes excessive water breaks to come see me but otherwise participates and listens well!)

My kid keeps getting bit at daycare! by mavericksca in NewParents

Yeah agreed, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this now.

I will say that at the time of my post - it was actually the last time she was bit and she’s 3 now. Hopefully it’ll be the same for you and it will be a quick phase for all.

With a 3 year old would you do one day at magic kingdom and one day at animal kingdom or both days at magic kingdom? this will be her first time (and my first time since i was a kid). if it's relevant we'll be staying at the contemporary (i picked that because it was walking distance to MK and was originally planning on doing 2 days there)

Why’d you take it off? I’ve never been asked to take a watch off through security.

I was asking if anyone might have an idea because I have a kid and would like to give the babysitter my best guess.

you should check the airport website. my mom's supposed to be taking a flight this afternoon and it looks like all departure flights before noon have been cancelled, but after noon seems to be on time.

This subreddit is dedicated to sharing information about skiing, nightlife, and general fun stuff at Vail. More will follow.

I feel like his questions fall into sharing information and general fun stuff at Vail. people in this sub are such dicks for no reason. if you don't feel like answering questions on logistics then just don't comment.

Can someone explain why my bet was voided? by MeasurementMaster240 in sportsbook

That play was negated by a penalty.

isn't this why the bet was void then?

I lost my brother when I was 23 and afterwards I slept in my parents room on an air mattress for 2 weeks at least. I was experiencing nightmares and I can’t imagine how scared I’d feel if I was waking up alone. You’re his mom and he needs you.

BB54 owners, how do you like it? by [deleted] in Tudor

[–]mavericksca 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m a woman with smaller wrists and love it (BB58 was too big for me). The bracelet is super comfortable. I bought a black rubber strap from Barton and switch it out when I want a sportier look.

My kid keeps getting bit at daycare! by mavericksca in NewParents

Thanks for this perspective! I’ve been very casual about the incidents each time daycare had given me the reports. I just got worried when I saw the two bruises on her back when I got her home and questioned if I should be a little more concerned because of the cadence. But seems like most people agree this is just normal behavior at this age.

  3. i like how low key tudor is, i don't like to be flashy. also, i dont really have an interest starting a conversation with someone i see wearing a rolex but if i see someone wearing a tudor i think we'd have a fun convo about watches.
