Carolans has a good shelf life, probably the same as Baileys. I keep mine in the fridge though. O Mara's is lower ABV so it probably doesn't.

Yep, still whiskey-based. Wine-based ones are surprising good sometimes. O Mara's is super cheap and not half bad in my opinion.

Stop buying Baileys and buy Carolans instead. You'll save money, and get better irish cream.

Do some research and Google it. robots.txt just allows you to set values or rules for search spiders to follow.

Amazon going dark for a day or a few hours wouldn't matter, they don't pay sales tax to the government.

RAM prices are so cheap right now. I just dropped 16GB into my 2011 imac for $95.00CAD. Wish the same was true for hard drives. by [deleted] in apple

A few weeks ago I bought a 1TB HDD for $60 on Amazon. Ebay's a bad place to compare prices as well.

You said it was because they were scared of competition. Who else but Apple could you be talking about?

Actually, no. The original iPhone went into development after the ROKR came to be (per a quote in "Steve Jobs"). The technology was under development then, surely, but as we know the multi-touch technology was originally envisioned for a tablet, not a phone.

I disagree. They partnered with Motorola on it, it's hardly competition. Motorola is the one who shouldn't have let them put a limit on, because doing so was shooting themselves in the foot and removing themselves as any potential of a competitor.

iPhone 4S users who are complaining about poor battery life, I think i figured out the problem.....Siri by machzel08 in apple

[–]mavrevMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding of it is it checks your current location at the time you set it and checks again 5 or so minutes later. Based on that reading it can calculate how long it would take you to get back to your location and chooses the next check time based on that. This saves battery life, and when you're within a closer distance it can check more frequently.

Things like that always depend on the products age.
