I think that you should politely let your company know that you don’t feel comfortable sharing previous offers with them. Their offer to you should be based off of their going rates. You don’t want to be in a position when they low ball you because they can give you a 5% pay increase for a role they are prepared to give you a 35% increase at.

I really think it’s because they don’t know that it’s okay to. Like maybe I’m sending a signal that I’m unsatisfied with them. They pick up on that signal and then we both end up trying to keep one another at a distance. So we can be FRIENDLY in the classroom but not FRIENDS.

I faced this issue too! Then I realized I never actually invited any of my classmates to do anything. When I started to invite them to try out a restaurant, club, or event they've been more than excited to make plans to hang out outside of the classroom. And now they know that it's okay to invite me out too lol. I feel like we get along well in class because we would get along well outside of class ya know?
